thanks! I'll go ahead and do the other form while I have the time.
favourite character?; Ouma and Gonta as said before, though I'm leaning more on Ouma just because I'm writing a few things with him being the focus.
least favourite character?;
(already mentioned in the form, but feel free to go into detail about why you like/dislike a character) Junko Enoshima has nothing going for her in terms of earning my sympathy. She brought the whole world to ruin, brought her loved ones to despair, brought herself to death -- all because she could. also, sure, a character doesn't need to be sympathetic to be liked (I have many villain faves who aren't at all that) and not to mention Enoshima is actually a fun character in that she's different than most villains these days, but still something about her that just makes me hate. Her. So. Much. Strangely enough, I hate Monaca less.
most memorable moment from the game?; damn I can only remember from DRV3, it's been a while since I went back to the others. The moments I remember most are whenever someone brought up the short period of time that's passed between chapters. When Kiibo, with that bitterly smiling sprite, pointed out a time after chap 3 that it's been only days since the student council was formed, I felt a strange sort of immersion that I hadn't felt in the other games. I felt like I related to him in that it didn't feel like just days ago ha
most shocking moment from the game?; again, V3 tops the cake with its ending. Throughout the last trial I had to pause the walkthrough to laugh at how info-dumping it is, and also how sad the implications made me.
characters you thought were going to die (but didn't)?; Himiko, Asahina, and Souda. They felt like they were coded to be victims but I was very wrong.
thoughts you had going into the game (if any)?; I found out about it because of a message thread on dollars.org (yes, a fanmade site for the dollars from drrr) and it warned readers to not get attached to any of the characters. I took that as a challenge. I got attached.
would you recommend this game to anyone else?; I recommend it to anyone who either values character-driven stories or argument-driven gameplay, since those are the cores of DR.
(if you've played V2/V3) which game from the series is your favourite?; I'd have to V3 since I love the characters from that the most. Though I love SDR2 for its presentation.
