a quick question ! i'm very very new to this, i just made my first two posts yesterday evening, & i was wondering how the whole appointing deputy thing worked ? i've got the basic gist of most everything except for that. does my leader have to travel to moonpool or search specifically for a deputy, or can he find a warrior and then later on appoint them as deputy ? sorry if that's a dumb question ! :0c and who determines which clans are bordering my own ? :0c

@Scarlet_Wolf, It's not a dumb question at all c:. As far as I know, all those methods work to achieve a deputy for your clan. It just depends on what you want to do and how you want your story to play out, as well as how quickly you might want to fill the rank. The moonpool will be the quickest way other than just appointing a warrior to deputy. If you decide to go on a border patrol, there's a chance you can run into a deputy. I'm not sure you can specifically ask to find one on patrol, though. The results are randomized, I think.

@scarlet_wolf - hey welcome to CAC! (aaa your sig, i love unsolved~) as for bordering clans, you can actually work that out for yourself! the standard way to get border clans is simply to ask here on the FC if anyone would be interested in having their clan neighbor with yours. :>

on that note, and with the newfound knowledge that everyone here is probably going to be super helpful and nice, i'd like to introduce both myself & my clan ( albeit a very small one, but one in the making nonetheless ) ! here's a my first introduction post about mistclan !

mistclan is centered in a valley of rolling hills, an area where mist often rolls in near dawn
and dusk, hence the clan's name. the cats living in the area generally have thickly-furred pelts
to protect themselves from the chill that the fog brings. they've always been seen as a rather
peaceful and secluded clan, preferring to keep more to themselves rather than accept help from
others. however, when they attend gatherings they are always friendly, and many cats from
mistclan share close ties with those from neighboring groups of cats. mistclan isn't picky with who
it takes into it's ranks, as their numbers are rather low because of their seclusion. once at cat joins
mistclan, though, he or she is usually immensely loyal, as the clan watches out for one another
fiercely. the clan's camp is tucked low in between two hills, a rocky outcropping providing the
framework of their home. they prey mostly on small birds, hares, & mice, though fish can occasionally
be found in the wide river that slices through the valley. along their northern border is a copse of
trees, one that is hunted in frequently, though most of the rest of the territory is vastly made of
tall grasses and sparse shrubbery.

and yesterday evening my clan was founded ! this is slatestar, and he's a rather ambitious tom ( i haven't gotten much worked out for his personality & stuff, but it's in the works ) !
