Shadefrost turned behind him and thought he saw a flash of pelts. "Hello?" he called queitly into the bushes. "Is someone there?"

Phantom hid behind the tree, not moving a muscle. Ivytail's stomach lurched. Oh great, she thought. It's him. She glanced at Shadefrost sheepishly. "Let's... umm... continue the hunt."

Shadefrost nodded not convinced. He noticed how jumpy Ivytail seemed and then gave himself a sigh. She liked who ever was out there that was for sure. He got into a hunter's crouch as he stalked a rabbit. His paws never touched the grass and he made a no noise. He sprang into the air and caught the rabbit before it couldn escape. He burried it with his fresh kill.

Ivytail let out a relieved sigh and trotted after Shadefrost, glad that Phantom had decided--so far--not to give her any more trouble.

Phantom hung his head, feeling like Ivytail had just rejected him. He had wanted to meet Shadefrost.

Shadefrost stopped for a moment and breathed in the warm air. "Ahh nothing like a crisp new-leaf day to keep a cat focused," he purred aloud and pricked his ears in case he heard any prey.

Leafshine rolled her eyes at Shadefrost looked around, pricking her ears and opening her mouth. A wave of scents hit her mouth. Rabbit, squirrel, rogue - What, rogue?!

Phantom hung back in the bushes, then stepped into the open to stare face to face with Ivytail, Leafshine, and Shadefrost.

"What are you doing here?" hissed Ivytail.
Phantom shrugged. "I just wanted to meet some of your clan members for once.

Leafshine's nose wrinkled. Her claws unsheathed, but she kept a calm tone. She stepped forward, a freshly killed rabbit dangling from her jaws. "Who're you?" she hissed around rabbit fur. She dropped it on the ground to glare at Phantom menacingly before she calmed down a bit. She had to keep her head in a situation like this.

"Some before have called me Phantom, so that is the name I go by. You see, me and Ivytail have made friends--" "Phantom!" Ivytail pleaded, though it was too late. What would they think, with her befriending a rogue!

Leafshine's expression didn't change. She turned to Ivytail. "I think it is great to have a friend that's a rogue," she mewed. "As long as he doesn't cause any trouble." Leafshine eyed Phantom warily.
