Guys I'm literally crying right now! I just became the new owner of one of my most favorite equids, Gwyn! She's the original necklace quip, my first CookieQuid, and I couldn't be happier quq Thank you so much CookieRabbit!!

Now I'm left with a choice to make: I want her to be the mate of one of my boys (if I find out she doesn't have a mate already), but I can't choose who. So, I want the community's opinion! It's between:


Jarek
Pro: Lots of coat possibilities and combinations for their foals.
Con: Polar opposite personalities; I don't think it would really work out relationship wise.


Alduin
Pro: Similar personalities, albeit Alduin is much more aggressive.
Con: Limited possibilities for coat colors and combinations.

Spartan, I would go with alduin based on the personality and look of the couple. I would stop pairing equids based off of foal possibilities due to the fact breeding isn't likely to ever open again. Horsy has already commented on the fact that there is no promise or gurauntee breedings will be open again.

Oh my goodness it was so hard to not post this for 2 weeks!
The owner just posted the confirmation so I would like to introduce my lovely girl <3

Saber is a strong-willed young mare who always speaks resolutely. She is courageous, determined, and competitive: she hates to lose due to the fact that losing reminds her of her weaknesses. She constantly insists that she is a top alpha and that her gender is of little importance to her. She is resolute in following her own morals regardless of more viable tactics being available should she consider them to be underhanded, leading to conflicts with Legolas, Halsionna, and Magick. While obtaining leadership is of the utmost importance, rejecting her chivalry is something that she will not do under normal circumstance even if it should put her at a disadvantage.
Saber is loyal; she appears cold, but is actually suppressing her emotions to focus on her goals. She becomes very stubborn once she is set on a goal, which can cause her to ignore others' opinions if it's against her goal. However, Saber is secretly deeply insecure, having no real sense of self-worth, and can only feel fulfilled by leading others. Legolas realizes that even though she is a supremely skilled warrior, she would be happier if she didn't force herself to fight. Despite being unable to attain happiness in her own life, Saber greatly enjoys seeing the happiness of others. This trait is a cause of concern for the equids that care about her, believing she should attain her own happiness.
Underneath her serious exterior, Saber shows herself to be a kind hearted and gentle mare who wishes to protect those she cares about, though she does get easily agitated by other's antics. She also gets rather jealous which causes her to feel self-conscious about herself.

I usually try to find wmes that compliment the coats of the one searching for a mate; So They're usually similar in color, but not super similar or carbon copies. Also it helps when looking at coats to place the potential pair next to eachother and study them. To be honest, I probably wouldn't choose either of them based on looks. Though I seem to do very well in matchmaking.

I may have a male to offer into the potential mate pool in a few weeks.

Guys! I am so excited to introduce you all to me new boy! <3 He is one of my dream wmes! I have always adored the Mazquip and it is wmes like him that first drew me to the species. I am ecstatic to actually own him.



His name was Andrei but I am thinking about changing it. I want it to be something mythology or folklore related. So far I came up with these:

Hengroen
Xanthos (Or Xanthus)
Pendragon

Which do you all like or do you have any more suggestions?

Also, what would his coat color be considered as?

Plus he's my dream-quid. I had my eye on him whenever he first came out, and in the readoption event from a
long time ago. Finally he's mine.
