what is a space baby? *:･ﾟ☆

born in tandem with the stars themselves, space babies are creatures that scour the cosmos in search of... destiny! each start out as idealistic little things, driven to find their one ( or two... or three... ) true calling(s). a sb's destiny can be something as large as becoming the defender of a planet, to something as small as growing their own garden. each time a sb finds one of their destinies, a ring of stardust grows around their body. the most ancient sb's are entirely cloaked in stardust, each seeming as though they've grown their own universe.

a sb can range anywhere from four to seven feet tall, and can thrive anywhere from the cold depths of space, to the gentle breeze on earth. some sb's have colonized entire worlds - though many think of themselves as wanderers without a set 'home planet.' that doesn't mean that they aren't social creatures, of course - sb's love to team up with partners for their long journeys across the galaxy!

My first post as an artist for this species! I hope this is up to snuff.

Cassiopeia is a very intellectually-based
space baby. When confronted or argued with,
she often spits back factual evidence which
makes the arguer feel personally attacked.
She doesn’t particularly like causing fights,
but she enjoys winning. She tries her best
to keep up-to-date with most sciences and
maths, specifically physics. She loves
arguments over gravity, and pounding
flat-(earth)world believers to a pulp with
her disputes. She’s sassy, too. Even having
a general conversation with her may
end up in some type of argument. She’s not
hot-headed, but will find every crack to
break into and spill her knowledge.

Licorice is quite a soft spoken person, loving to hang around those who have similar interests as they do. They love to read and are usually found in a library of some sort, they're also quite adept when it comes to making old fashioned teas and medicines for people. This comes in handy when their friends are sick and need to be taken care of, as they can whip up a nice soup to help sooth their throat in no time. They can get hot headed when arguing about something they care deeply about, but will never physically wound someone.
