It doesn't upset Templeton at all - it's just my sister thinks he's beautiful and wants him to be a rat model (she's a loony haha, but he would make a good rat model for rat food X3) but not with an unsightly bald patch. She just wants him to be as beautiful as possible I suppose. May i add my sister isnt 6 but 22 which makes this situation funnier. I suppose he could model for rat hair loss clinics X3

I'm just messing with you though, he doesn't mind at all. But seperation from Remy makes him have seperation anxiety. He's a needy little sick boy. Had to rush him to the pet ER at 1 in the morning when he had the beginnings of pneumonia. He hates medicine now of course and thought it would be funny to slap me with his dirty tail while i fussed over him then shove it in my mouth. Good times..

So far.. I can only let Sade and Sharkie out to play. :c

Siber and Spiffs are still iffy.. does anyone know a way.. or any treats that might make them more comfortable coming out of their cage for longer than five minutes?~ D;

Handle them a bit each day. For 5 minutes at the most. Pet them, hold them, talk to them and give them love. They will come around and eventually , whenever you come near they will be begging to come out. That's what i did with my rat Bella. She is practically atached to my hip now. She is such a sweetie.

Get a bit of yoghurt on a spoon and lure out one of your 'fraidy rats' so that he has to lick it off of the spoon, and can't just grab it and run back. Keep doing that each day, and lure them out a little farther each time. Eventually they'll start to trust you be pretty friendly! (I didn't do this for my ratties, and they are still really friendly, so even if this doesn't work, your rats won't turn out mean or anything.)

My rats are fighting again, it's really frightening me as they're really hurting each other. They are both males, brothers and have lived together all their life, why would they be fighting so much?

Sexual tention? Males just get that way sometimes. Separate them, but where they can still hear, see, and smell
each other. Like in wire cages far enough away still so they can't hurt each other through the bars. :3

Try a bit of strawberry or chocolate Mouse That helped with mine!

Hey guys, what do you think about using Aspen bedding for their cages? I read that sometimes it has mites, and you have to freeze it for a few days before using... (That just freaks me out Dx) And also, I've read that it sometimes causes severe sneezing because of dust. It's much cheaper than the normal bedding, and my mom wants to buy it. But I want the best for my rats, so... what are your suggestions?
