Ragged Robin

Before them stood three loners, silhouetted by the dawn sun and their shadows stretched out over the muddy ground. Their pelts were terribly dark and adorned with red clay, symbols of some ancient deity long forgotten but still desperately worshipped in times of great hardship. They didn't have the faces of reasonable felines, war digging deep furrows of pink and tufts of white in their pelts and in their eyes, blood swirling in their inky depths; the loners came with trouble perched on their shoulders.

The tallest of them, a reed-thin grey tom with silver stripes adorning his eyes, stepped forward and regarded them with evident contempt. ''I'm Ash that falls from sky'' He murmured. ''And you should run while blood still runs in your veins.'' Ash threatened, circling them slowly, like a raven among the clouds. Ash had been exiled from his tribe many moons ago and although he forgave them for his untimely fall, Ash still sought power like water to a thirsty mouth.

Beside him were his two goonies; equally brainless, ambitionless and expressionless. They were quite happy to follow Ash to the very ends of the world, traipsing for many miles in hopes of pleasing the quite severe tom. ''I'm Crag where nest lays.'' growled a dark brown tom. ''And I'm Leaf that shakes in storm.''


Ash smirked, addressing Duststar once more. ''If you don't scram, I will unfortunately have to tear your throat out.''


Duststar frowned and snarled. ''I'll take that chance.''

Brambles


The battle was won but they didn't feel like champions, worn and cut to shreds. Before Duststar's eyes, there shimmered a young ginger molly and before Duststar knew it, a feeling of hopelessness bloomed in her chest; the life of hope had been snatched from her far too early for her liking, Duststar thought grimly as she dragged herself into the realms of awake. ''I thought you were dead!'' remarked Birchclaw, crouched beside Pearcloud's wheezing body. ''These two are hurt badly.'' The silver tom motioned to Boulderwhisker and Pearcloud. ''You should get a healer or something.''

The tabby frowned at Birchclaw, not enjoying his bossiness. ''I'll do just that.'' Duststar replied icily. ''And you better get hunting; we need all the prey we can get before leaf-bare.'' It'd only been a few days since MeadowClan had begun and already they were struggling! The fact they were struggling wounded Duststar's resolve and she couldn't help but think that it'd be a long time before they were ready to take on Silverstar.

greenleaf- the season of summer. during greenleaf, you will catch a max of 6 pieces of prey. during patrols, you are more likely to run into twolegs and their dogs, and rogue groups will most likely start to try and settle on your territory so keep an eye out. you are still likely to get floods, but there will be more droughts towards the middle of greenleaf. your clan will still receive new cats but not as much as you would in newleaf.
