I've never found anyone who ships Undyne and Sans. Personally, I don't think they're the most compatible pair. She's a determined warrior of justice, and he's a pessimist who only takes action if all other options are completely exhausted. He's also the judge. They would have significant clashes of morality and it would be highly unlikely to work out.
Soriel is pretty popular but I really freakin love Toriel and Asgore. They're like missing pieces to each other's souls, and it's adorable but kind of heartbreaking. Their houses really reflect this. The flowers in Toriel's house are dying, and Asgore's garbage can is full of discarded pie recipes. It's like a piece of them is missing! But that's my opinion, and I'm fine with people who disagree and hate ToriGorey. :)
Papyton is amusing but I haven't looked much into it. XD
I found a couple of other ships that are lesser talked about. What do you think of these:
- Undyne & Papyrus
- Alphys & Asgore

As for animals, I picture Alphys as an owl. They're always portrayed as smart. Toriel is a freakin mother bear. Asgore would be a big, gentle giraffe or something.
Undyne? If I can't say "swordfish", I'd definitely put her as some kind of bird of prey. Or a guard dog.

Wow! That's a lot of Sans (7/10) and Alphys (7/10). The funniest things is that these characters are my opposites. XD

Yeah, people seem to relate to those characters a lot, lmao. Personally, the only similarities I share with both is that I like puns like Sans does, and I like Anime like Alphys does. I would say that I'm shy like Alphys, but that'd be a lie -- I doubt she dislikes people, but I do dislike pretty much everyone that I meet offline XD (because let's face it, there's a lot of bad people out there)

Apparently in real life, I come off as so Undyne that people can't help naming me after the hot-headed spearfish herself. I don't exactly blame them!

Does anyone mind if I share my feeling on a few ship(s)? No? Okay, I'll be kind about it though and won't scream at people who ship some of these things:
Undyne and sans: I don't really get this one..? Only a few people ship this, but.. yeah..
Sans and Toriel: I don't really like this one.. I get why some people like it, but I always thought Asriel (asgore and toriel) was better (i just realized that Asgore and Toriel's ship name is their son's name. Clever..)
Papyrus and Mettaton: It's okay, but after a while I realized it was like a kid liking someone on a tv show (thankfully someone showed me that)

People ship Undyne and Sans? Either way, I don't ship them. Soriel and Papyton are cute and all, but I don't ship them. (plus, I kind of see Papyrus as a kid/teen, or at least someone who doesn't/shouldn't date, if you understand what I mean?)

I found a couple of other ships that are lesser talked about. What do you think of these:

- Alphys & Asgore

I think Undyne and Papyrus could work, but personally I see them more of like siblings/best friends than lovers. I'll admit, I'd be a little disappointed if it was made canon, since that would mean Undyne and Alphys would no longer be together.

As for Alphys and Asgore, I think Alphys had a crush on him, but it's definitely passed now. I think that the two wouldn't really work together, and I have ships already with both of them -- Toriel and Asgore, and Undyne and Alphys. I do think it's pretty cute though, but I think Asgore more of sees Alphys as a niece or daughter or something.

I'd imagine than Asriel would be something more cute or innocent, and then Flowey might be a lion or something. Still, maybe it could be imagined that Asriel is a lion cub, then Flowey is a fully grown lion!

I'm not a fan of the other ships mentioned though, to be honest... Soriel is kind of cute, I ship it in Altertale, but not much in classic Undertale.

I think he could be a dog! Friendly and cute normally, but when something bad happens, he can turn vicious. Also, I drew Asriel at school last week, a teacher saw it and thought he was a dog.

dID SOMEONE MENTION SHIPS-
When it comes to ships I think I've mentioned before I don't ship a great deal in undertale, but I'd still like to give my opinion on some of the more popular ships.

Sans X Toriel: Personally don't like this one. I can understand why people ship it, but like to imagine them as friends. I've always pictured Sans being in his 20's or something, where as Toriel is obviously much older, so I think it'd be pretty weird to ship them.
Toriel x Asgore: While I prefer this to Soriel, I kind of like to imagine Toriel as remaining independent after her first relationship with Asgore. I like to think Asgore remained trying to win her back, but was unsuccessful, and even used it as a point in my AU.
Papyrus x Mettaton: I personally have a deep, deep hatred for this ship. I just... don't get it? I could never see it working. I mean... innocent skeleton who doesn't understand the meaning of love X narcissistic robot

I don't personally ship Papyrus or Mettaton with anyone, simply because I just don't find their personalities compatible with anyone for a healthy relationship-

wAIT DON'T LEAVE LET ME EXPLAIN-
I don't actually ship this when it comes to the game, I do however ship it when it comes to my alternate universe-
In the AU itself, the ship is not cannon, and very far from it actually, I mean, to the point one of the endings in the AU literally has them kill each other-
It started as a crack ship when I was discussing the au with a friend and we were trying to figure out what the worst ship in it would be. Long story short, it was Mettagore. I jokingly made ship art of it but I guess overtime I just... began to genuinely like the ship?? I dOn'T kNoW-
Again, outside of the cannon of the AU, I just began un-ironically shipping it? I have no idea how this started, but I'm too far in to back out of this ship now- I don't know, their personalities aren't even that different in the AU to the actual game (I'd say the main difference is Mettaton is like 50x edgier oops-) but I honestly just love how well it works even though it... doesn't??

I probably just made everyone confused and scared of me now, yay :'D
Well, this at the moment has become my favourite ship, and probably my weirdest one.
It's strange seeing as I'm usually pretty safe with my ships, rarely shipping non-cannon unless it makes sense-
But hey, I'm sure everyone has their one weird ship... right? ...right? QuQ

Soriel: Sans x Toriel. In some point of the fandom, I actually shipped the two a little. It wasn't something like "oMG oTp dRaW morE pleAse cLeAnsE mY sOuL" nah it was just "O ya this is p cute 10/10". But I am wAaaaAay over that and I don't ship it, however, I won't disgrace anyone who ships it or any other ships!

Papyton: Papyrus x Mettaton. I don't think I ever liked this ship in any point of my life. Its cute sometimes but I see Papyrus having Mettaton as an idle. Something he could look up to you know?
