I find it kind of annoying but not really? I feel like it fits its character very well, especially having seen it in the anime. Rotom’s personality is supposed to be a little annoying, but also helpful, so the useless tips thing just works for it I guess lol
It’s really annoying when you get useless tips right as your about to use the roto-loto tho >.>”

This is one of the biggest reasons I did not buy USUM. I love Pokemon, I've played it all my life, ever since Red/Blue/Yellow. Yellow was my first pokemon game, and it snowballed from there, and I've played every single game except B/W 2 (for monetary reasons; I'm working on getting a copy now) and now USUM for annoyance reasons.
I feel like Rotom is just too much. I've never had a tutorial in a Pokemon game, and Rotom definitely feels like one, and the fact that you can't turn off his 'hints' or annoying comments every. single. time. I turn on the game, it just got overbearing and downright annoying for me. I'd go to click on him to get to the map, he'd just start talking again. I'd hit the same spot another three times before the map came up. I don't know if I just don't like change, but I really don't like the direction Pokemon is taking with USUM and the normal S/M games...
(just my opinion though, I don't mean to take away any fun that you guys are having with USUM! Personally though, I hated S/M and I'm just hoping things go back, at least a little bit, to the original format of 8 gyms and stuff. I did enjoy the storyline though, and the characters, except for Team Skull).

I'm multiple legendaries in and only just realized I could have gotten them shiny. Not too worried since I've got my copy of Ultra Moon I can try for a few of them on but I did catch one version specific unfortunately. Rip dreams of Shiny Dialga.
Also I was reminded once again that I probably shouldn't have Golisopod in my wormhole team. I love my bug to pieces and he's a big part of my main team but he cost me a shiny hippo. Tell me again why his only ability is emergency exit? Nice for chaining multiple First Impressions, horrible for catching pokemon. This is one of the biggest reasons I did not buy USUM. Rotomdex is amazingly annoying. He was okay in S/M but this upgraded version of him is a little too chatty.
I can't quite agree with you though on the 8 gym format. I thought that after twenty years the 'island challenge' was a neat little change up. I did like that they didn't change the elite four and I also enjoyed the focus on story (although I agree Team Skull was a little weak in the villain department).
Currently collecting PPS dogs.Music makes you braver.

Team Skull were pretty terrible evil teams yeah, but i still love them :') I don't know, maybe the more "childish" changes to the game that I loved were offputting for some people, but i love rotom and everything else about USUM/SM lol
Also does emergency exit make you run from the battle in wild battles? I thought it just swapped you out like in trainer battles ;_;

BOSS FIGHT TIPS AND SPOILERS BETWEEN LINES
||| Ultra Necrozma has the dumbest way of beating it ever. Straight up, you're not going to win like other trials with type matching anf brute force. You will lose. Here's how to win.
You will need...
- Pyukumuku with Innards Out ability
- 1 Max Revive (2 to be safe)
Send out Pyukumuku first. Let Necrozma kill it. Innards out will take half Necrozma's HP. Send out any Pokemon. On your turn use Max Revive on Pyukumuku. Swap in Pyukumuku when you can and let it die again. Innards Out will take out the rest of Necrozma's HP.
CONGRATS ON YOUR CHEAP WIN. HERE'S ANOTHER ONE.
- Any level Zorua or Zoroark with Toxic
- A Poison type in your last slot, Mareanie works the best
Lead with Zoroark. Illusion will disguise Zoroark as Mareanie. Use Toxic. Necrozma will think Zoroark is a Poison type and keep trying to use Psychic which won't work. Let Toxic do the work. |||
