"We can only hope," Clint repeated quietly. He was ready to fight as soon as they got off of the jet. He was holding his bow in hand, an arrow nocked.

Lena followed Steve out of the jet. Hana and Zenyatta following close behind. They were all prepared to fight these unkillable monsters.

steve left the jet, stepping out into the city. it was quiet- so unnatural. though he knew it was due to the enemies nearby.

jack left the jet, looking around for anything out of the ordinary. nothing. maybe they were hiding? he threw down a biotic field, creating a safe spot by the jet they could heal up at, and lifted his rifle to gaze through the sights. he scanned the buildings slowly, freezing when he spotted movement. within moments, he had fired the first shot. it rang out in the cleared out streets, and there was quiet for a moment- right before many creatures appeared from hiding, slowly making their way to the groups.

As Clint saw the creatures approaching their group, he tensed up. He quickly swung his bow so it was pointing at the creatures. He was glad to see that there was nobody on the streets; no bystanders to be hurt. Wanda came up next to him, he could see she was also preparing for a fight.

Loki had his daggers in his hands, prepared to attack the creatures. "Interesting," He muttered under his breath. The creatures were nothing he had seen before, and he had seen many different creatures in his time.

"see what I mean?" steve spoke quietly, unsure if they were going to attack or not. moments after he spoke, a creature lunged forward, outstretched hand reaching for the soldier. he swung his shield down, knocking the thing off and slicing into it.

Lena was about to shoot when the creature lunged at Steve. He seemed to have dealt with it, although the creature still seemed to be moving. "It's not dead." She said simply, not being rude, but Steve's shield blow should have killed it.

steve watched it squirm on the ground before getting up, seemingly unharmed. "yeah, it should be at least slowed down.." he didn't have much time to think before the creatures started moving, hundreds it seemed running toward them.

Lena had her pistols up quickly and was shooting as soon as the creatures got near them. She could see Hana in her mech out of the corner of her eye also shooting, although she seemed slightly stunned at the quantity of the creatures there were.

Clint was nocking three arrows at a time, shooting so each one hit a different target. "Great, there's even more." He mumbled. He was worried that he would run out of arrows before they could even kill one of the creatures.

angela gripped her staff tightly, watching the creatures pour in. she activated her damage boost, directing the stream of blue light to hit clint- hoping it'd give him some help injuring them. though with the sheer amount, she worried she would have to pull her own weapon out to assist.

fareeha burst into the air, immediately firing a round of rockets at the monsters. those hit were on the ground in moments- though she couldn't tell if they were dead or not. from above, the soldier had a much better view of the battlefield.

Clint jumped slightly when the stream of blue light from Angela's staff hit him. His arrow flew the complete opposite direction of where he wanted it to go, almost hitting Jack. He quickly nocked another arrow couple arrows, shooting them at the creatures getting closer every second.

"watch yourself, archer!" jack growled, seconds after the arrow whizzed past him, before turning back to the fight, firing a helix rocket at an oncoming group of monsters.

"this will help power you up," angela called to clint, noticing his slight shock. "if you get hit I'll be able to heal you, as well." she turned around, scanning the rest of them, making sure the rest were healthy and safe.
