I don't think I'd qualify as a traditionalist, but I definitely use names that sound like they could be from the book series. My weirdest names would have to be Stormwake and Nightspook, and a non traditional name I use is Jadewing {Referring to the color, not the gem}

descriptions/histories more than the actual writing part most of the time.

It's nice to see there's other fellow traditional namers!

Just as a general question, how strict are you guys with traditional naming?
Like does everyone only use the 'Ailuronymy' lists? Or are there other
prefixes/suffixes you use ontop of those? I mostly just use common
sense to what terminology clan cats can know and don't use banned
prefix/suffixes. (ex. I have characters named like Flintback & Mistleberry,
neither of those prefixes or suffixes are in the "official" lists everyone uses,
but I personally still think both of those name are acceptable.)

While I try to use only prefixes and suffixes that have been used in Warriors(or ones that'd make sense, like timber or aloe), I don't like traditional naming because IMO, it limits the possibilities.

man i just got back into warriors, like i said. i realize i actually missed it, despite its flaws! i just finished tigerheart's shadow, so spoilers in the transparent below!
i never really liked tigerheart. i kind of hate him. but there's characters i hate more, so i'll give him a pass. it was annoying how he tried to force clan life upon the guardian cats. anyways, his leadership. sure, cats WILL have the same names. but two major characters (tigerclaw/star and tigerheart/star) with the same one? no thanks. and why is rowanstar rowanclaw? he never stepped down to give his leadership to tigerheart. sure he tried, but his deputy declined the offer. so why? did someone stage a coup or something while tigerheart was gone?
also hhh i loved spire/spiresight so much, i can't believe he's dead like all my favorite characters aaaaa
i don't like tigerheart or dovewing, but i really enjoyed his book! i loved the city and its cats. i would probably recommend tigerheart's shadow to warriors fans.
