Aye so I'm trying to collect the 2016 store pet cheetahs
I'd also like to let everyone know:
There are about 50,000 endangered species, 16,000 near extinction, the cheetah is one of them.
In the 1900's there were 100,000 cheetahs in their historic range, today there are only about 7,000 left and only 9% of its historic range survives.
Cheetah's are the fastest animal on the planet and known to be the most tame of all known big cats. They have an acceleration rate of 0 to 70 miles / 120 kilometers in three seconds, something not even the worlds fastest supercars have achieved, unlike other felines, cheetah paws are rounded and harder like tire tracks and claws for cleats. They're the only member of their genus to have a spine like no other as it's loosely articulated vertebrae allow it to make nearly impossible long distance sprints. Being one of the most successful hunters, sacrificing everything for their speed has come at a price, they're jaw and body structure is too fragile to fight off hyena's and other predators and often steal an easy meal from them as an estimated 30% of what they catch is taken by other animals, it's crucial that a cheetah eats after a few runs as each run burns 300 calories. Their gene pool hasn't changed in over 10,000 years, lack of mutations has had them left behind in the evolutionary war for survival and they are more exposed to virus's and disease. __________________________________________________________________________________________________
