Lilykit and Shadowkit raced out of the medicine den. Lilykit was excited, she was going to be the medicine cat apprentice. Her mother would have been so proud of her. She wondered when the ceremony was going to be.

Shadowkit separated from Lilykit and went looking for Stormkit. He saw Rainfeather standing outside of the apprentice den and headed over. "Where was Stormkit?" Shadowkit asked Rainfeather.

Stormkit was awed by the apprentice's den. He would live here soon and it would be great! He was going to be an apprentice! He wondered who his mentor would be.

Rainfeather looked at Shadowkit, "He is looking at his future nest." he said, "I suggest you do too, since you will be living there soon." he indicated to the apprentices den.

Not waiting for a reply Jayfeather started backing up and said "uhh well I guess I'll go wait behind this bush" she backed into a thorn bush "OUCH!" she yowled then blushed and ran around the bush to the other side

Skyspirit nodded, "Yes!" she said to Lilykit proudly. She took the leaf and carefully chewed it into a poultice, then she put it on Shadowkit's ear and rubbed it softly in. "There you are," she mewed, "Now out, out, out. I must talk to Sagepaw." she herded the two kits out of her den and trotted back to Sagepaw, "Is there something you wanted to ask me?" she asked her.

"I wanted to ask you about... Cloudclan, the 5th clan, what happened to it?" Sagepaw wondered if they were still alive.
