Yikes, have any of you guys bought from miccostumes.com? I ordered a D.Va costume from there because 1. I wanted to test their quality because I see ads everywhere and follow them on Instagram 2. I am not sewing all those strips spandex, no thank you. I was telling a friend that I was testing them and he just laughed. Now I'm certainly nervous to say the least.

I signed myself up to be Eli/Chika in an local love live cosplay/dance group - MUCH EXCITE.

anyway i'm working on my newest cosplay which is prince gumball from adventure time! I'm super excited for it. I have one question though. i have to wear body paint. has anyone else wore body paint for a cosplay and could tell me the best way to seal it so it doesn't look greasy? thanks!

@~Jaded ;; unfortunately I have not ! I've heard mixed reviews
about them, so it's a hit or miss kind of like aliexpress ! for
my own personal recommendation on cosplay sites, I've used
cosplaysky quite a few times and they've always been fairly
good ! they've also fixed their shipping times so items get to
you pretty fast now !!

the like, I've only worn it twice, but a lot of my cosgroup uses
a mix of makeup setting spray and hairspray. hairspray is a good
sealant in a pinch, but I would definitely look up different
alternatives and read reviews based on what you find ! body
paint is a tricky thing and no one like getting it on their clothes
or wigs if they can help it !

I like to use baby powder to seal my body paints. It's worked well with water based, alcohol and grease paints in my experiences (:

if you dont mind my asking, did your unit make or buy the outfits?

alsoo, i've cosplayed casual yohane and, being lowk obsessed with the autumn viewing set, plan to ?maybe? cosplay her unidolized ver(the leaf in her bun instead of the feather is tOO CUTE i love her,,,)!!! at the same time i kind of want to create a more idol-like costume, maybe wonderland?

yet another completely unrelated question: are we allowed to post photos of our cosplay here, or link them? i know that tesses' rules still apply (not being allowed to post our face) but would it be alright to link photos of our entire cosplay, face and all? thank u asdfghjkl
