Scarlett nodded, before heading in the barn. She looked around at the well looked after stalls. A few horses were inside, and Scarlett noticed one in particular, which had it’s head out and ears perked. Scarlett put out her hand to say hello, as the fairly small horse lowered it’s head. “Hey pony,” she mumbled, stroking the face of the chestnut horse that seemed pretty friendly towards her. Hearing a squeal from the end of the barn, she saw a bay horse pacing back and forth. ‘That must be the one he referred to as the bay stallion,’ she thought to herself, and noted to stay in the other end of the barn.

She stopped by the gate and let out a whinny, prancing back and forth as sweat started to form on the coat of her neck, gleaming in the light. She could see the paddocks from the gate, and pranced back and forth, wanting to get out. It had been a while since she'd done much else than stand in the large lorry or be lounged, after all, but that was the life of a show horse.
