"Come on," Lilykit squeaked to Shadowkit and raced ahead of him. "Skyspirit, Shadowkit's ear is hurt!"

Shadowkit followed sullenly after Lilykit, grimacing at the pain in his ear.

Stormkit followed Rainfeather, "Where are we going?"

Sagepaw

"I mean,was there ever five clans?" The she-cat apprentice felt like she should ask Skyspirit this but she might as well see if her mentor knew anything about that.

Rainfeather
"I'd like to show you something." Rainfeather said. He trotted into the apprentices den, where Peachpaw was just exiting from giving the loner Moonstreak a tour. "You will be an apprentice soon," said Rainfeather, "So I want you to take a good look at where you'll be staying. Go on, look." he nudged Stormkit further into the den.

Skyspirit
Skyspirit came trotting out of her den, "Ahhh," she said, "Come." she went back in and looked at Shadowkit's ear. "Alright Lilykit," she mewed, "Get me some Dock leaf. And remember, pick it up very carefully!"

Clovertail
Clovertail sighed, "Yes," she mewed, "There was another clan. Cloudclan." she picked up her prey again and continued on to camp, "Ask Skyspirit for the story." she said, her voice muffled by the squirell in her jaws, "I don't know the story."

Sagepaw

"Okay." Sagepaw was quiet for the rest of the time they walked back to the camp. Once they reached the camp, she quietly set down her prey and padded towards Skyspirit's den. "Skyspirit, are you busy?"

Clovertail placed her prey on the fresh-kill pile as they reached camp and headed into the warriors den to get some rest.

Skyspirit
Skyspirit looked up as Sagepaw entered her den, "Well...sit over there until I'm done here." she mewed, indicating to a little ledge near the herb storage room. Skyspirit turned to Lilykit, "Go on!" she said.

Lilykit nodded and bounded into the den, trying to remember what the dock leaf looked like. She picked up a dried leaf and carefully carried it back to Skyspirit. "This is right, isn't it?"

Shadowkit sat down just inside the medicine den and waited for Skyspirit and his air headed sister to fix his ear.

Stormkit smiled and walked with as much dignity as he could muster into the apprentice's den. He was excited but determined to be grown up about it.

Sagepaw

The she-cat sat quietly were Skyspirit told her to. I wonder what happened to Cloudclan... Oh! I forgot to give Skyspirit her food. Sagepaw walked out of the Medicine cat's den and to the prey pile. She grabbed a vole for Skyspirit and a squirrel for herself. She trotted back into the Medicine cat's den, setting down the prey carefully, she waited quietly at the spot Skyspirit told her to.

Skyspirit nodded, "Yes!" she said to Lilykit proudly. She took the leaf and carefully chewed it into a poultice, then she put it on Shadowkit's ear and rubbed it softly in. "There you are," she mewed, "Now out, out, out. I must talk to Sagepaw." she herded the two kits out of her den and trotted back to Sagepaw, "Is there something you wanted to ask me?" she asked her.
