Deadnettle followed the scent trail, moving quickly but quietly. Waiting in the bushes behind the warren's entrance, he watched and waited for and rabbits who may venture out for food or water. He watched in hopes that if a small group left they wouldn't have time to circle around to the warren's entrance in time. As he waited, his hopes were fulfilled as two plump rabbits hopped out of their hole, sniffing the air. Shifting himself so the wind was blowing in his direction, he watched the rabbits as they deemed it safe to venture out further, which was when Deadnettle leaped quickly from the bushes and gave chase, the wind rushing through his fur and his paws moving so fast he appeared to be flying.

Deadnettle sniffed the air. Smelling another wolf, he narrowed his eyes and buried his prey to dig up for later. He followed the trail, sniffing the ground as he went. He pushed through a patch of bushes and into a clearing, where a wolf was sleeping.
