"Calm down, it was just a joke." Skystar giggled, looking at her. It wasn't her fault that the other she-cat was in a bad mood. Someone else caught her attention, and she turned to face the approaching tom. He claimed to be Skystar of CloudClan, a clan she hadn't heard much about. What bothered her was the name. "I'm Skystar of SkyClan." She said, keeping her voice calm, and giving him a small smile.

"Nice to meet you." Another head dip. Sootcall noticed the ears go down, and he understood perfectly. The large groups of cats and the loud noises didn't sit well with him either. "How's clanlife going for you?" Sootcall asked, trying to make friendly conversation. SkyClan was currently on the brink of hunger, and he considered asking the other deputy for some help. Surely Skystar wouldn't mind, right?

"Wouldn't that be a bit of an overreaction?" Vinescratch said, making an impression for himself already as he padded over to the small group of leaders. One of the toms looked familiar, like they had met before, but he decided not to comment on that. "They are clanmates, after all. It'd be a waste to kill them." He argued. He wasn't big on forbidden relationships, but he definitely didn't agree with exiling or killing them. "They're cats, just like you."

"Who said I didn't?" Sloefur meowed, smiling slyly. "That's not the real question though. Now, where's your mate?" She responded, sitting down with her tail curling neatly over her paws. She turned her head to face the tom. "I'm Sloefur, of SkyClan." Sloefur said proudly. Her clan was strong and still growing, and she felt no reason to hide. She even wanted to slightly show it off. She belonged to SkyClan now.

Fernheart let out a sigh. He didn't feel the need to introduce himself, so he went to leave when he was hit by another cat. This time though, Fernheart stomped down on the tail of the cat, and pulled him back so they could see eachother face to face. Fernheart's eyes narrowed. "Watch it." He spat, ears drawn back.

houndscar felt a growl from deep within his throat. “how i run my clan is none of your business, tom,” he snarled, tail curling. “excuse me a second, maplestar, sweetstar.” houndstar turned and trotted over to the tom that crossed him. “just who do you think you are?”

wickerfur nodded fiercely. “i wish i had the ability to memorize things,” he mewed wistfully, beginning to feel more comfortable in this situation. “what about coughs? what remedies cure those?”

sunsong dipped his head as another tom approached. the young tom smiled, glad to have someone to talk to. “hello, adderstream. my name is sunsong, and i come from adderclan. funny how you and my clan share the same prefix, isn’t it?”

willowfeather nodded. “it’s my first gathering, yes. adderclan is faring well. soon, i hope, we’ll be quite strong. leafbare is rather harsh, no matter the clan size.”

sootpaw grinned. “she sounds like a good mentor! houndstar’s kinda mean too, but it’s okay, i don’t really mind. what kind of territory do you guys live in? ours is a dark forest, you can’t really see the sun or moon a whole lot. my friend sunsong is the brightest cat in the clan! the rest of us are just kinda dark. anyways, our forest is kinda spooky, i got scared by a falling branch one time, but houndstar told me to shape up or else i’d never be a warrior. but we don’t have warriors in our clan. it’s kinda like two groups. one of them fights and the other one hunts prey and gathers herbs. i dunno which one i want to do yet. what about you? what do you want to do when you grow up?”

With her spotted silver chest puffed slightly out in front of her, the leader strode past the throng of mingling cats as up to the large boulders reserved for only the leaders of the clan. Her expression remained stoic and hardened, piercing blue gaze sweeping shamelessly past the fellow leaders faces.

jaysong was resting upon his haunches, head turned around at the voices of other cats. Some, deputies like himself, and others, medicine cats or even warriors of other clan's. The grey-pelted tom doubted he knew any of them, however.

Bramblepool swung his head around slowly as he watched other cats flood into the gathering space, smiling and giving ones who passed a brief nod. Unlike many other cats in his clan, he wasn't as guarded around strangers, instead holding a rather light air to himself compared to the rough & tough ones that his clanmates shared.

Sorrelpaw huddled next to Bramblepool, watching his mentor's serene looks and trying to mimic them. The ginger tom looked out longingly to others apprentices, ones who were to be warriors, feeling a slight yearning to go and speak to cats his age. However, he was also fascinated by what the medicine cats around him were saying aswell.

Spiderfang looked around, round orange-amber eyes scanning his surroundings. Many cats were around, some alone and others talking in big groups. He looked up at the leaders for a moment, wondering where Jaggedstar was in the large cluster.

While trying to pass the crowd of cats, he accidentally bumped into another cat. The she-cat was about as tall as him, she has wide curious eyes as she swiveled her head to look at Bleakstar "Oh! I'm sorry, Are you okay?" Bleakstar asked. First time going to a gathering and you've already messed up Bleakstar told himself, he cringed as he recalled the moment just seconds ago. your a leader, bee-brain! Watch where you're going or you'll make a bad impression! Well .. you already did make a bad impression but still! Keep yourself together!

A knot formed in his stomach. The gatherings were pretty big. Cats crowded around, it would be an honest blessing if a single blade of grass would be able to survive the whole gathering not getting stepped on. Shiningpebble looked around. Bleakstar had told him there will be more cats that had the same rank as him. So where were they? He sniffed the air. A faint scent of herbs lingered in the air as he wanted to try to find at least one cat who knew about herbs. He spotted a calico tom and a white she-cat with small patches of orange. Fresh herbs lingered in their scent. Shiningpebble decided to approach them. "Hello. My name is Shiningpebble, medicine cat of Coniferclan. Would you mind if I joined you in your conversation?" he politely said. Being polite wasn't his style, but he did want to keep a clean image, so it had to be done.

This was littlepaw's first gathering as a confierclan cat. After all the troubles of his original clan disbanding, he remembered stumbling upon Flurrystorm - who was currently to his right - when stumbling onto the territory of Coniferclan. Both have only known each other for only a few days, but Littlepaw felt a little more easy around Flurrystorm. He squeaked as he felt someone flank his left side, slightly pushing against Flurrystorm more as the warrior gently soothed his back, saying gentle and kind words that made him relaxed. He watched his paws and Flurrystorm's as they both padded at the same pace, trying to maneuver themselves around the bodies around them. Suddenly Flurrystorm stopped walking. Littlepaw raised his head confused as he watched another tom in front of them. Using a tone of disgust as he talked to another cat, who bowed his head, assuming it was an apology but then another cat did something else to the disgusted cat to make him angry again. The tom hissed at the new cat that appeared. Littlepaw than heard another voice, not a new cat or the disgusted cat but the voice came from the warrior who was right beside him. Littlepaw glanced at all the toms, more nervous by the second, His eyes traced all the features of all the toms involved. This is gonna be a long night...

the tom padded behind. Patiently waiting for other cats to move out of the way. It was crowded at the mid-way entrance of the gathering. Other cats sharing tounges and others gathered around and spoke few words. Flurrystorm and Littlepaw flanked each other as they both tried to move past the crowd. Hearing a squeak coming from the apprentice as another cat accidentally brushed their flank against his. Flurrystorm used his tail to calmly brush the hairs that stood up on the apprentices back "don't worry, you'll get used to it eventually." the warrior gave littlepaw a reassuring smile as littlepaw tense figure was replaced with a relaxed one. Just then the two coniferclan cats heard an unpleasant tone from the cat in front of them: "you got something to say?" the voice said with venom and disgust. Littlepaw tilted his head in slight confusion while Flurrystorm flicked his ear in annoyance. Currently, the tom in front of them lashed out at another tom, who had apologized, but it looked like the tom won't forgive him anytime soon. Flurrystorm couldn't control his mouth this time as he said "Maybe you, yourself. Can watch your tone and maybe- while you're at it- look where your going yourself so you wouldn't have bumped into him. Mouse-brain." Flurrystorm said with a hint of venom but it was masked with his annoyed tone that he didn't hide. Semi-glaring at the tom.

"Someone who thinks you're a complete mousebrain for killing off innocent cats." Vinescratch retorted, taking a shot at the leader. "If a cat betrays you, send them SkyClan's way." He hissed. His clan would never be so cruel to the cats who vow to defend it with their life. "A leader is supposed to do what's best for their clan, not destroy it." Vinescratch spat, staring the tom down. They were about the same height, but Vinescratch might've been a little bit taller. He dug his claws into the soft ground as he felt the tension build. This wasn't ideal, but if the tom was to attack, he'd be ready.

The she-cat awkwardly watched the other cats talking like they’d known each other for years and contemplated going to try and join the conversations. Goldenstar jumped when she heard a meow next to her. She turned her head to look at the Tom who had addressed her. She blinked at him, not sure if he was being friendly or not. His tone of voice was confusing, and his crooked smile and squinting eyes made him look like he might make fun of her. “Oh-ah-yes! I’m new here. My name is Goldenstar, leader of Brineclan. It’s nice to meet you.” She said with a dip of her head. Her pelt was burning in embarrassment at her awkward introduction.

Smoketail was about to leave without issuing the other cat a reply, when he felt a paw stomp down on his tail. He let out a hiss as he was yanked backwards. He turned to fix the cat who’d done so with a menacing glare. “Excuse me?” He asked, his voice a low growl. The fluffy black Tom bristled in agitation and his tail lashed back and forth. “I think you should apologize. You don’t want to start this with me.” Smoketail snapped, his ears pinned back against his head.
