Seeing her submission, the alpha pair's posture relaxes a bit. They remain on guard though. Approaching the she-wolf, Luna takes the lead. "Hello. I'm am Luna, alpha female of this territory. What brings you to our lands stranger?" She asks in a friendly manner. Aster remains silent, keeping an eye on their surroundings.

The she-wolf dips her head in respect to the alpha female. "Hello, I've come to this territory in search of a pack to join." She says calmly. "If you'd like me to leave, I will do so." She replies, not wanting to intrude if she isn't welcome.

Luna eyed the stranger to test her honesty. Seeing that the she-wolf was telling the truth, she wagged. "That won't be necessary. You are welcome to stay. You will be watched for the first month just in case, and you will have to prove your loyalty eventually, but you are welcome here. What is your name?" Aster relaxed as well. He was happy with the idea of having a new pack-mate.


Aster left to let Luna deal with the new wolf. He knew that they needed to find food soon.
Send out a patrol:
Wolf names(max 4): Aster
Area to patrol(north border, by river, eastern forest, etc.): Not too far from the den. So he can find nearby food, but also make sure Luna and the pups are safe. Especially with the stranger around.

The she-wolf wagged her tail a little in response when she saw that the other wolves meant no harm to her. She nodded and dipped her head gratefully. "Thank you so much for your kindness!" She stated. "My name is Nadia." She said with another wag of her tail. "I hope I can prove myself to be a good packmember."

Aster went out looking for new scents and he caught the scent of a rabbit den! He followed the scents to the den and geared up for some "fast" food.(lol sorry)

(Yay, I like the name Nadia. And don't apologize. I love puns. LOL)

"I'm sure you will." Luna stated kindly and led Nadia to the den to introduce her to the pups. "This is Etriam, Ether, and Nova." She told the she-wolf gesturing to each sleeping pup in turn. "We all take shifts hunting and protecting the pups. For the first month though, I will have the same shift as you, since you are new." Luna explained kindly. Luna knew that even though the she-wolf seemed trustworthy, it was still better to be wary at first. Especially with her pups. Though she hoped with time, that Nadia would prove herself a trustworthy an loyal pack mate.



Aster knew he needed to get food for his pack. He scoured the ground and found all of the entrances to he rabbit den. By scent he could tell the rabbits were still inside. Blocking all but one entrance with dirt, he trapped the rabbits. He then settled down, hiding just behind the clear entrance to wait. His spot would be out of sight of any rabbit leaving the den, given the wind direction, his scent would not blow to them. He stayed very still and waited. If a rabbit emerged he would lunge and kill it.

Nadia nodded as Luna explained some things. “Your pups are so cute!” She stated with a smile and a little wag of her tail.

While out hunting, Aster managed to successfully kill 4 rabbits! It was difficult though, as some rabbits got away too fast or kicked a cloud of dirt right into the poor wolf’s face! But he did it!

Area to patrol(north border, by river, eastern forest, etc.): Within howling distance of the den in case Luna and the pups need help, but along the river. They figured, the herds would be along the river, and that there may be a strong chance of easy prey. They don't want anyone to go hungry this season.

As soon as they scented the caribou, Aster and Nadia raced back. Making a quick decision, Luna hid the pups carefully. Then the three wolves began to track the caribou. They made sure to remain downwind and carefully made their way forward. Soon they had the herd in their sights. Eyeing the herd, they realized they were taking turns drinking from the river. Luna noticed a large caribou that seemed very old. It moved slowly but it still seemed strong. It looked to be the only member of the herd that was in a somewhat weakened state. The wolves chose them as their target. Keeping away from the wind, Nadia and aster crept behind the herd to catch the caribou as it ran, while Luna got in positon to race across the river, using the bridge, to startle the herd towards her pack-mates. Once everyone was in position, they waited. When it was the old caribou's turn to drink, Luna charged. The herd startled as predicted and the old caribou panicked and fled along the bank of the river. Luna gave chase. As they passed Aster and Nadia, the two joined the chase. Nipping at the old caribou's heels, they tried to trip it. The pack steered the caribou towards the side of the mountain to trap it. They flanked it to prevent it from turning another way. Once they trapped the caribou, the pack attacked.
