So I drew a thing. This thing is in celebration of my favorite month, the first day I could see my breath, one of my favorite books that happens to collaborate nicely with my favorite month, as well as me finally beginning to heal from my wisdom teeth removal surgery and so the list goes on. This is Sean and Corr from the Scorpio Races; by far a pair of my favorite characters. I love these two and their relationship. Corr is still probably my favorite Capaill Uisce from the book; I know there's not a lot to choose from, but oh well I still love him, and I will forever ignore why my drawing is somewhat ironic. And wow Corr looks nothing like how I wanted him to turn out, but oh well.

I'm definitely going to come back and clean this up over time, but for now, I'm satisfied with calling it finished (not really but I'm impatient and tired and wanted to post it). If you have not read The Scorpio races, I highly recommend it; it's a YA and therefore expect lower reading level, but the story is awesome and really helps to get you in the mood for fall.

ahh !!! i remember reading this book a few years ago. it was absolutely my favorite, and got me really interested in kelpies and mythical animals ! still a favorite to this day :'0

@JerseyDusk;; Thank you! I worked hard on the background, I'm trying to build up a little more skill in them <3 Also, I agree. It would be great to have more, but for me the ending was enough; not saying I wouldn't be ecstatic if she decided to write more in the universe/series!

@naumachy;; Same! I read it because I was interested in mythical creatures, and this book just fed that love and introduced me to the kelpies.

this looks absolutley stunning! i must read the book but this really has a magestic vibe to it! i love it. i want to be there and it feels like i am with the vibe you'e created. well done!
only crit i'd give is maybe add some shadows beneath them? it would really seal the deal i think (:
