Their parents were young, and unsure of how to take care of two kids, but they never cared that much anyway. jaakko grew up stealing food and money, and anything else he saw that he figured would help him or his brother. when he was sixteen, his father left, leaving his mother with the two boys. they were close to losing their home when she met an older man and married him after finding out he had a lot of money. he often abused jaakko and his brother when their mother wasn't around, but neither of them said anything, and when jack turned eighteen, he had enough money to leave and start his singing career. his brother ended up not wanting to come with him, so he stayed behind, and a couple years later, he died in a car accident.
