Personality:
Redstrike is an uptight, proud, and
agressive cat. He constantly thrives
off his strengths, using it as a
justification to look down upon
some of his clan mates. He refuses to
rest until he is able to become a
leader for his clan. He takes much
pride in his only daughter, who was
the only kit who survived from his
litter. He relies on his strength and
ways of words, which is probably the
only reason the clan doesn’t hate him,
because he’s way too convincing with
his words. He could charm a cat to
cut off its own tail. He pretends
to act so humble and kind, where
it’s not so correct... but it seems
to have worked anyways.
Redstrike desires to leave

History:
Ever since he was a young kit,
he wanted to be a leader.
He kept on training, and trying
to befriend everyone, a cat
with a spark in its eyes.
Yet, his parents seemed to
vanish one day, abandoning
him as they left the clan.
That hadn’t deminished
his fire yet, as he continued
to work hard, and show his
impressive strength to try to
become the quickest warrior. As
an apprentice he was trying his
hardest to prove himself to his
clan, trying to be humble, trying
to be a great hunter, and trying
to make an great impression. It
succeeded. As a warrior he met
Goldenstripe, a gorgeous silver
cat. They became mates, right
around the time he realized that
the leader wasn’t going to ever
choose him as a deputy, due to
how they chose another cat over
him. He started to change then,
becoming less chipper, but more
calm and quiet, having more of
an authoritarian voice, rather than
a enthusiastic one. But what really
changed him, was when Goldenstripe
died. She died while giving birth to
his three kittens. One of which was
already dead, and the other, Redkit
died a moon later of Greencough.
His only daughter lived, her name
Silverkit, soon to be Silverstripe.
He is very protective, and proud
of her, constantly looking out
for her wellbeing. He wouldn’t
want her to be injured in any way
and he hopes for her to achieve
many great things in the future.
He often ponders about that if
he became leader, she’d be his
deputy, and that’s the only cat
who could have that role.

phase. considered a very motherly and upbeat she-cat, most of her clan
seems to believe she has her heart set on being a queen more than anything
else, warrior included, however they'd be wrong. under her motherly ways,
her heart yearned with ambition, all she wanted to be was a medicine cat,
though originally she dreamed of being a warrior and queen. a part of her
won't deny that she'd like some kits too, and possibly even find the love of
her life, as sappy and fairy tale as that sounds, even though that's impossible

I am reserving the final posts for the first page, the temperature will be 10ºC / 50ºF. It will be lightly sleeting [ie. rain and snow mixed as snow/ice melts as it falls] and this role-play will be starting before sunrise. CricketStar will be alerting the clan because she swears she hears something outside the walls of the cave they call home. Feel free to start planning your posts/interactions.

Getting some superficial relations wouldn't be too bad of an idea. If anyone had ideas in mind for relations with CricketStar I'd love to hear them! Don't be afraid of having negative relations with her, she's not meant to be a good leader ;)

history as a kit heavyfeather would trail warriors or more confident kits through
their camp, preferring to follow the lead of somebody else. this behavior carried
on through his apprenticeship even as he became more confident in his own skills.
heavypaw proved to be a formidable opponent in a fight, as well as quick enough
to run down startled prey. still, as a warrior heavyfeather would rather take orders
than make decisions for himself. he's had one apprentice in the past, and though
he taught her as best he could heavyfeather felt he came up short in his aversion
to making decisions and giving clear instructions. even now he jokes that she
trained herself, and he's only mostly kidding.

heavyfeather likes to keep his business to himself, keeping a quiet stoic mask on
in the company of cats he isn't close to. he speaks plainly and doesn't beat
around the bush-- if he has a problem, he'll mention it in a way that doesn't give
the listener any insight into how he feels about it. it's easy to be mad at him.

indentclearmorning is a cat devoted first to the importance of
life, then to her clan and her task. while she trained as a warrior,
clearmorning is a pacifist. if she's able to talk a cat down from a
confrontation she will, but if she can't her ferocity is without
equal, as she is then protecting the lives of her clanmates. her
thoughts are often with others over herself, and therefore when
she sees a cat in danger she'll ignore all sense of self-preservation
and act on her first impulse. she's often thoughtless outside of
the life-or-death, as well, focusing so fully on one thing that all
others are out of her mind. not the sharpest cat around, she'll
often try to outsource problems by asking anyone and everyone
nearby, finding the best solution that way. she's an open book to
anyone willing to give her the time and very openly affectionate.
it's not likely she will read into spoken words any level of meaning
past what's actually been said, nor will she understand sarcasm.
it's best to be direct with her.

indentshortly after becoming a warrior, clearmorning was on
patrol when the warriors stumbled upon a beast which, given
the small number of cats on patrol, made short work of them. it
badly damaged her hind leg, completely removing the foot, and
her escape was aided by another warrior who happened to be
hunting at the time. she fought a terrible infection for three days
before it let up and her mangled leg began to heal. she didn't take
it easy any longer than she absolutely needed to, getting back on
her feet and returning to her duties. her balance is lacking in many
ways, but if she runs fast enough (and can she) the momentum
keeps her on her feet.

indentmosquitopaw was so named for his 'buzzing around the nursery' like
a bug. he's full of energy, but often he expends it through nervous pacing
or digging. he shows little interest in making friends with other apprentices
or in his duties, and the only cat he seems to share any sort of bond with
is his mother. when he does speak it's without much care or sensitivity, and
it's clear he doesn't consider it worth doing. very little excites him.

indentmosquitopaw is an anxious tom who's exceptional at putting his nerves
out of his mind, but where he thinks he's a model of outward peace he's
burdened by a few ticks and compulsive behaviors. he's almost constantly got
his paws on his face, scratching his nose or his ears, grooming his muzzle or
something to that effect. he's rubbed off small clumps of his fur, and though
he's self-conscious about his appearance it hasn't been enough to break the
habit.
