The ground shook as his footsteps pounded. Closer... closer... then there he was. His sour breath filled the room as he leaned closer to her. She let out a squeak of fear, then she raised her head defiantly. "They are safe." she said, voice quavering. "No one is ever safe from me." he growled. She screamed as he plunged a sword deep into her heart, then pulled it out again, it's tip glimmering with crimson blood. He then pushed his way into a room filled with scared people. He held up the dead woman's body. Her eyes were wide open with shock and blood dripped from the corner of her mouth. "You all are next." he growled and slammed the door, leaving the dead woman on the floor, staining it with red.
