Asphodelface's ear twitched at the sound of a mew, a small yet relieved sigh leaving him as he now knew he wasn't mistaken in scenting Cloudyspots earlier. He took a few cautious steps towards her voice, which quickly turned into a confident trot the closer he came. Once he saw a familiar ginger-and-white pelt come into view did Asphodelface falter, gulping nervously before me made himself known. "A-Ah, hello again." He stuttered out once he knew he could easily be seen from her point of view. "I... would hope you still remember me from the last Gathering?"

"Prickly doesn't even begin to cut it when it comes to Weaselstorm." Orchidnose joked, chuckling fondly at the thought of brown-and-white tom back home. Weaselstorm was quite the character in her eyes, grumpy towards everyone no one what rank they held, but he was a nice tom once one got past every layer of his prickly exterior like his own apprentice Shadeleaf had. "I guarantee Stonenose wouldn't be able to handle him. I-if that's not too disrespectful of me to say of your mentor, that is."

She dipped her head calmly. ''Not at all; what's the truth, is the truth.'' Smallwhisker remarked, unruffled by Orchidnose's statement. A cool breeze blew past the skinny molly, sending a shiver rippling through her body and with it the fear of leafbare. ''Leafbare's coming soon; we've barely caught anything too.'' She mumbled under her breath, shaking her head solemnly. ''How's PineClan coping with LeafBare coming soon?''

The chilly air had also blown through the gray molly's coat, causing the warrior to shiver at the uncomfortable sensation with a thin grimace on her face. "We're doing our best, hunting and gathering as much as we can until the colder seasons arrive." Orchidnose disclosed, briefly staring at the grass under her feet and imagining it becoming covered in thick snow again. "We might learn basic medicine this Leaf-bare, though with so many warriors in our Clan it would be pretty hard." She decided to end that sentence there, not wanting to utter any mention of how the idea came about because they lost a queen last Leaf-bare with two inexperienced warriors who sadly couldn't do anything more to help her. "I hope you and everyone else in MoorClan will be alright, I've heard it's difficult to live in places like the moors - though I tend to take gossip like that with a little bit of skepticism."

''Well, I wish you luck.'' Smallwhisker smiled. ''Even if PineClan isn't yet an ally of my clan, I don't want to see you all frozen to death.'' She noted the thin grimace on the grey molly's face and sat closer to her; to keep her warm of course, it was something her mother had told her, something about body warmth. ''I wish you luck; in my clan, all apprentices have to learn basic healing!'' The tortoiseshell remarked, flicking her tail to and fro. ''Perhaps your clan could do the same? Saves time learning it as a warrior.'' Smallwhisker offered. ''As for the moors, it is hard; all we have is rabbit.'' She complained. ''Just for once I'd like to eat a nice plump mouse like I did back in my old clan; Tumbleclan.''
