"Well let's get going," Moonwatcher said. She flapped her wings a few more times and hovered. She then stopped for a moment. "Alek, did you see Darkreh anywhere? I need to know if the phoenix is on our territory and if it's a true threat before we go in fire a blazing." She swiveled her neck this way and that in hopes of spotting her commander. But Moonwatcher was with no luck. Moon was confused for a moment as why he left. Maybe it isn't a real threat and I was overreacting, Moonwatcher thought, her brow furrowed in concentration.

“I think his father had already passed by the time I joined. Unless I joined the clan just before his death and simply don’t remember him.” She muttered. “As for records, there may be something in my den, but I cannot be sure. There are definitely scrolls in there, but it’s possible they only contain remedies and not actual records.”

"D-darkreh?" As in Darkreh Ravenblack, the commander?! How would he possibly know her? He was a spy, but he didn't take direct orders from her. Nor were they buddies. The Tigelaar was only famous for the one spellcaster in the family, and his murder. A lot of dragons forgot Aleksander was a Tigelaar himself, so why would he raise the attention of the commander? "I'm sorry, but I haven't seen her." The fact that Moonwatcher hadn't seen her either was terribly concerning. The murderer...didn't come back, did they? "Should we search for her?"

Oh, how wonderful her life was! Aeris's claws clacked on the stone floor of the corridor as she headed towards the room where the Sacred Spellbook was kept. She found it slightly unfair that she couldn't keep it, as she had to walk down these dreary hallways with their stale air. She wanted to be in the skies, but she had to retrieve the book for practice. However, she began overhearing...conversation. In the records room. Who hung out in that dusty old place, with nothing but scrolls? Curious, Aeris tiptoed towards the entrance, trying to lean her ear in.

Apathmo could feel a sort of tension between the dragon and phoenix before him, a fact he wasn't sure made him more confidant in his benefactor bird. "What do you mean 'find it'?" he accused, "I thought you knew where you were leading the band of questers." He hurriedly thought better of his tone and lowered his head marginally. For some reason, he got the feeling the phoenix might not take his tone very kindly. Instead, he spread his wings, preparing for flight. "As a member of your merry band, I follow where you lead," he said, chaffing slightly at his own words. He had to remind himself of the barrier the bird had erected in order to keep the flames under his scales.

Khodon blinked and refocused on Noviss. "Do you read minds?" she asked suddenly, then barreled on without waiting, "I can read the remedies or records. Maybe you might have a remedy for chills my mentor doesn't, or that weird fern plant I found last time. Where's the healer's den? Is it this way? I bet it's this way." She quickly left the entrance to the records room, practically skipping down the hallway. They had to be close! A grin spread across her face as she tried to think about what could be in the healer's den.

She threw a puzzled glance in the direction she thought Khodon was at the remark. “I don’t have that ability, as handy as it would be. I just heard you mutter something about records.” She said, getting to her feet and trotting after the younger dragoness. “Come back here! You’re going the wrong way.” She hissed, before muttering something about young dragons and wondering if Khodon wanted to get caught in the den of an enemy clan’s leader.

Aster scurried after them, doing his best to keep up with the she dragons.

She opened her eyes and let out a slow plainful breath as she stoop up out of her pool. The burns on her underbelly were highly sore but was looking like it was healing nicely. She smiled grimly, pain she could deal with but death from infection was the last thing she wanted as her legacy as leader. Feeling consirably better she began the climb out of her den and into the light of day she stretched than than sprung into the air, slur align her great wings to clear the treeline and laughing as she made it up into open air. A Emerald patrol looked at her in suprise than laughed along with their alpha. Their eyes widened at the burns but she waved them off as an accident with a hot spring. Veera wasn't sure they believed her but they trusted their alpha enough not to call her out on it. She sent them to finish their patrol and began to go on her own to check on her territory, feeling lonely without Brill flying beside her. She cut her eyes to the ruby kingdom, wondering what Apathmo and that fire bird was up to. The Emerald alpha landed on one of the tallest trees in her kingdom, looking out on her vast territory with great pride, scanning the trees for any odviouse signs of trouble.

Moon felt super awkward as she just hovered in the air beside Alek. After carefully thinking for a moment, She suggested, "Since Darkreh left, do you just want to go on patrol with me? Maybe we will run into that phoenix," Moon said. She really didn't know what else to offer without being really weird and she had time to kill. Ugh, Sometimes I wonder how I even became alpha, Moon sighed to herself.

Khodon skidded to a halt after hearing the older healer called after her. "Right! Coming," she said, spinning around. she froze, though, at the sight of another dragon hovering in the hall. "Hello! You wanna come to the healer's den with us? Noviss says it's this way," she said, trotting past with a grin. She flicked Aster with her tail before speeding up after Noviss, hardly standing the comparatively slow pace. "Is it that one? Or that one?" she started asking, peeking around the older dragon's shoulder occasionally
