Froststar: Froststar walked out of his den with a bit of an extra pep in his step. He could sense the first snow in a long while coming. He shook his fur and leaned down, licking dew off of a blade of grass.

Petalstar: “Garlic has such a distinct smell,” she mewled, keeping her mouth slightly parted to look for the scent. “I’m glad, too. It means it’s super easy to find.” Her tail swished behind her as she walked. “And if we can’t find any, we could at least pick up some prey so we don’t go back to camp empty-pawed.”

Tail swaying slightly behind him,
Brackenheart quickened his pace into a trot. The cold breeze brushed through his light brown fur, pushing the point that winter was coming. Tasting the air, he paused, sniffing for
a scent.

A bunch of twoleg nests were lined on the left, she noted, despite already being aware. Her gaze sought out on in particular;
a small red brick one on the end. That was where she and her brother had once lived,
before Melissa and the twolegs had passed. She gave herself another shake, refusing to let her mind wander to her brother.

Rainpetal smiled,"Yea, I'm glad too," she paused,"I'll tryyy to hunt, but I might have to have the mighty Petalstar help me out." she chuckled, purring with good nature.

Petalstar meowed with amusement. “I was the runt of my litter, you know,” she said, flanking Rainpetal. “And I was the worst at hunting! I’m so glad I learned.”

Rainpetal widened her blue eyes and smiled, letting out a small meow of laughter. In the pocket of silence Rainpetal got hit with the sudden smell of garlic just a few mouse lengths away near the border, when they got closer Rainpetal saw how few there were and thanked Lepida for letting her reach it in time before it was eaten by some wandering prey or claimed by Autumnclan.

Sasha smiled lazily when he saw Shal, but his expression faltered when he saw her sad wistful one. He decided to call out to her and shake her mind of whatever disease was intoxicating it.
