Petalstar’s eyes widened a bit when Rainpetal turned around. “Oh! I’m sorry,” she said, not meaning to scare anyone. “I’ve just been itching for a walk. I should have just said hi.” She spoke as if she was just a warrior addressing another warrior, and not a leader addressing an inferior. She was still new to being a leader, and all of the eloquent speech that came with it.

Rainpetal gave her a nervous smile, she didn't know if she was allowed to act so easy with the leader,"Yes, I've looked everywhere except the Autumnclan border.." She shifted her paws again,"Would you like to join me?"

Petalstar nodded. “I need something to do. I’ve been awake since early this morning.” She hopped down from the rock and flinched at the coldness of the ground.

Rainpetal smiled in relief, she hoped that she and Petalstar would be able to build a stronger friendship over time. She didn't want to feel alone, she already wasn't allowed a mate, so having a close friend was a nice replacement. The cold earth made contact once again with her graceful paws.

He took his time, enjoying the tranquillity of the forest while he could. Pausing, he turned his gaze towards the sky, admiring all its colours and beauty. After a moment, Bracken resumed his walk, ears pricked for any rustling, signs of prey nearby.
