"Mine, Osiris and Ebony's parents always looked down on me and would tell me 'Crow, be more like your brother, Osiris, he's such a good example and one day he'll become a fine alpha' or they would ask me 'what have you done today? Osiris saved a pup from drowning and became lead hunter while you are just sitting and watching the clouds' they favored him over us." he began "Ebony always had it better than me though, if they said anything about her I would stay up late at night arguing about how brave, strong and kind Ebony was. They considered her weak just because she was the runt of the litter, in all honesty I think she was and is stronger than Osiris and I put together, she never deserved to be put down but she wasn't Osiris so nothing she did was good enough." Crow growled. "I killed him because once he became alpha he became cold to us, Ebony and I, he put us down and told us how disappointed mom and dad would be. He never said it in front of other wolves but when we were alone he told me I'd never be half as great as he was, but what made me snap was how he treated Ebony, his only little sister, he would tell her that she should leave the pack because she wasn't welcome and that she contributed anything for her pack mates." He finally finished his story with a sigh.

He was looking down a the ground as he said the story. He then looked at Crow after he finished. He shouldn't have treated Crow so poorly earlier in the day. "I wouldn't of thought of Osiris in that way. I didn't know he had such a bad side" he mumbled, his voice raspy by his age. He turned to Crow with a welcoming smile "I've misjudged you, friend, and I hope you take my apologies" he said with a small nod.

"I forgive you, but the question is, do you believe I'll make a good alpha?" He smiled gently but he looked extremely uncomfortable for he had not smiled in a long time "do you thing I'll make good decisions?" he added his smile fading slightly.

Frost shook his fur slowly "Well, if you keep that hostile attitude of yours, there will be bad choices coming your way" he said wisely "You have to keep a clear head to be an alpha" he added. His eyes flicked to the sky "I why would I know that...because I trained your father to be an alpha..."

Upon hearing the packs current healer offer herself, she smiled turning her gaze across her shoulder to make direct eye contact, before hearing crows words about whether or not she should help, but soon chuckled to herself and added with a gentle tone "Thank you Quinn, I appreciate your offer. You may come along if you wish to." she told her, before making her way back into the camp. She suddenly stopped once she got to the entrance and simply scattered her gaze around, acknowledging every wolf within the camp before deciding to slowly walk through the settlement on her way to her den. Once she got there she slumped her body to the ground and huffed slightly, placing her chin on her paws. Her bright yellow eyes remained wide open as she pondered to herself for a while.

"My attitude is the least of my worries right now." Crow snapped feeling slightly offended by the older wolf had mentioned his attitude "My father...." He growled "He always favored Osiris.... I'm sure you did too." He added with a slight sigh.

Frost raised an eyebrow "Your father didn't favour your brother...." He said, unsure himself if that was true "I favoured Osiris as a friend, and he was good friend to me...this killing hasn't only affect you and Ebony, it affected me". He mumbled the last bit, as if Crow cared.

“Yeah I bet my tail father didn’t favor Osiris.” Crow growled sarcastically “I killed Osiris and now he’s dead forever so we either move on and have better lives or we stay here and mourn about it, which do you choose Frost, a better life or sit here and cry?” Crow questioned with a quirked eyebrow.

Quinn gave Rye a respectful nod as she departed, but still wasn't completely sure she would be needed on the trek. She picked up her paws and trailed over to her apprentice, Susi, and paused as she approached her, watching the healer stare into the sky. "Well, what do you think Susi, should we get to bed and get some work done in the morning?" She questioned gently, the smaller shewolf lost in the sky. While there were some things they could do at night, like collect herbs that bloomed in moonlight, Crow had been pretty blunt.

Frost girlies slightly "you know what?" He said "I will sit and cry". He looked down "I will mourn over the death of my friend like a wolf who loves another" he mumbled then snapped his head towards Crow, staring into his eyes intimidatingly "Crying is not a weakness to those who are caring for others".
