Chimera pressed against him, yawning again as sleep threatened to undertake her. Blinking softly she kissed Dane's lips before she fell asleep.

Spike yawned in boredom, blinking open his pale blue eyes.

Dane fell asleep beside her.

Layla was still asleep.

Chimera's breathe slowly rose and fell as she slept- Curled up next to Dane.

Spike blinked softly, raised an eyebrow before he gave an inaudible chuckle as Layla's sleeping form- Laying hsi head back into the pillow and lookig up at the ceiling.

Dane woke up and silently slipped out of the house and into the jewelry store.

Layla woke up.

Spike sighed softly, glancing at Layla before he smiled- His blue eyes soft and amused when he did so.

Spike chuckled softly, "Hey." He murmured, gently kissing her lips.

Layla continued to kiss him and then pulled back softly before glancing out the window.

Dane picked out a beautiful diamond ring that was trimmed with sapphires, rubies, and emeralds.

Spike smiled in amusement, watching Layla with curous blue eyes.

Chimera stretched softly, blinking open her eyes only to find the spot beside her, where Dane slept, empty. She raised an eyebrow in confusion before shrugging and raising to his feet- Only figuring he had went off and got something to eat.

Layla smiled, "It's actually dark out."

Dane slipped a note inside the ragged old brown leather case he put the ring in, it read: Hi Chimera, will you marry me? He chuckled and slipped it into his pocket and headed back.
