Sablepaw smiled and nodded before turning her head back around. By now, they had made it out of camp and were now padding through the hunting grounds. The young she-cat stopped moving and sniffed around to find any trace of the herb. To no avail, she caught nothing and turned to Silverpaw for further guidance, "Can you smell anything?"

[Noctali]

Ravenpaw placed his black white tipped tail in front of Silverpaw, signaling to stop. She sat down, and, picking up her head, took a good whiff of the surrounding scents arround them; but no Poppy seeds. "I smell Yarrow and Marigold, but..." he voice began to trail off at the fresh yet stale scents of a Kittypet, Loner, and the blood of a Clan cat. She had obviously missed something, and was afraid that no one would let her know.

Sablepaw dipped her ears. Half because there were no Poppy Seeds around, and because she could still smell the remains of the previous incident, Maybe I'll tell her later...but I don't want to scare her.... She thought and shook her head, "Oh, well...maybe we can try elsewhere?" she asked, hoping to get the others out of here before too many questions were asked.

Ravenfrost glanced through a thick bush, his eyes attracted to what seemed to be something glittering; the edge of a lake. "Why not try to find it near the water?" he asked the young Medicine Cat Apprentice, black tail flicking. "There are sure to be at least a few useful herbs there." Silverpaw nodded her head, agreeing with the Tom.

Sablepaw first looked back at Ravenfrost before looking through the bushes where bits of the lake were visible, "Good idea, Ravenfrost." she mewed and gave the Tom a brief smiled before padding over and pushing her way through the bushes. Once she was on the other side, the young she-cat looked around and padded up a bit further. She turned her head to look through the bushes she had just previously entered from to wait for the other two.

Ravenfrost nodded towards Sablepaw as a 'you're welcome', but turned to the blind She-cat Silverpaw. "Now, Silverpaw, I need you to follow me by my meow after I get through the foliage." The silver Apprentice grinned and waited, sitting down and curling her tail around her front paws. Ravenfrost smiled and began to make his way through the bush, pawing every little thing that could get into Silverpaw's way away so she would not have to struggle following them. "Alright, come along!" he called out, and the She-cat quickly shot through the bush, tumbling over next to Sablepaw and laughing.

Sablepaw looked over at Silverpaw and giggled. She then cranked her head around to see if she could spot anything before hand. Once again, that failed. With a sigh, the young she-cat turned to the Apprentice beside her, "Can you smell anything this time, Silverpaw?" she asked and lightly flickered her tail around.

Silverpaw began to move forward, slightly ignoring Sablepaw's question. Her nose had picked up the obvious scent of Poppy seeds; fresh, even. "Yeah, Sablepaw." she mewed, taking in deep breaths of the bitter herb. "Can't you both smell it as well? It is pretty small." Ravenfrost decided to breath in the fresh air to search for the scent, but only picked it up faintly. "Not that well, Silverpaw," he replied, tail flicking slowly.

Sablepaw felt a bit ashamed at the fact that she, a Medicine Cat Apprentice, couldn't even pick up the slightest traces of Poppy Seed. But then again, she had to consider that Silverpaw's nose was far greater than her own, but dread still dwelled deep within the young she-cat. "I agree with Ravenfrost, I can smell it, but not as well as you can." she mewed softly and looked down at the ground, "Can you tell me which direction it's in?"

Silverpaw slowly nodded and turned her head, nose leading her to the other side of the lake; no wonder why they could not smell it. "Over there," she meowed softly, swaying her soft silver tail towards the direction of the lake. "You have to go quite a bit before reaching it, though." Ravenfrost looked astonished to see how well she could smell, but realized that the herbs were too far away. "Silverpaw, Sablepaw, we'll never be able to reach them..."
