"Don't worry, Boo! If you keep practicing at hunting, you'll get better!" Heidi replied, grinning and wagging her tail. "But, if you say that you don't want to hunt, I won't persuade you." she followed after him into the undergrowth that was once the neatly-trimmed park. The green plants and wildflowers brushed against her white pelt, and made her sneeze. To be honest, she preferred the overgrown park now compared to its former self.

{ Juniper smiled at the slightly nervous, slightly too energetic dog. She reminded her of herself in her younger days, so full of energy she hadn't know what to do with herself. Though, now that she thought about it, Rowen was the same age as her! "Good to hear your settling slightly so! Took me a week to even remember the alphas name so I'd say your doing well!" she confided in the female, trying to come off as friendly as possible. She remembered exactly what coming into the pack was like, and a smiling face was always a welcome sight back then! "Ah ya know, doing well, just about to head out on my patrol. I patrol the whole territory so I've a long day ahead of me!" she sighed mockingly. Every dog knew Juni loved her job, even though she'd complain night, noon and morning if you let her. "Tis gonna be a scorcher today too, might take a break by stream for a swim" she mused, before it dawned on her."You ain't got a job yet do you? You could come with me if you'd like, get to see the territory, figure your way around, and hey, if your good, you can even join the patrol team, we could always use more members!" she wagged her whole body, as her tail was not enough to adequately express herself.

{ Boo smiled, albeit rather weakly at the small dog. "Im happy enough to watch you this time round!" he spoke softly, his voice low and quiet now. He didnt want to frighten away any prey. Shuffling quietly, he found a spot half covered in shadows, and flopped onto his side, making himself comfortable on the grass. He looked at heidi eagerly, ready to see what she could do! "Dont let me stop you! he added with a cheerful chirp. He wiggled slightly, settling in for a wait. He didnt doubt heidis hunting abilities, but he was unsure of how long a hunt took, and was hence prepared for a long time interval.

Odessa padded through the forest while listening for the sound of rushing water. The woodlands were quiet which helped immensely in her search for clean water. Her footfalls were cushioned by the forest floor and felt much better than asphalt or concrete. Her nose caught the scent of water while the sound grew ever louder. Moments later, her excursion came to an end when she caught sight of the small flowing body of water. The fluffy beast walked up to the water’s edge with a wagging tail. She kept an eye on her surroundings while quenching her thirst. She licked her chops to save the excess water dripping from her jowls. She turned away from the stream and began the short trek back to her post.

Rowen was the liveliest Finkie, Juniper has probably met. Maybe even the only one, seeing as her breed is quite uncommon. Her tail wagged a bit faster at Juniper’s compliment. “Thank you, I made it a goal to try and remember the alpha’s name then everyone else.” For her to remember Corvid’s name, she just repeated it to herself several times. However, this doesn’t always work, so she’d have to rack her brain to remember or would simply ask them again. She listened to the wolfdog talk about her duties and was very intrigued. “You must be exhausted when you finish! Do you fight off intruders or just alert to them?!” She really didn’t understand the difference between the patrol and guard ranks because in her mind they had very similar roles. Her tongue lolled out of her mouth as the sun shone down on her and Juni. “I’d be down to go swimming with you, if you take a break that is.” Her fur didn’t attract heat but the thickness of it didn’t help to keep her cool. “I can tolerate the cold but this heat is intolerable.” She sat down on the ground and scratched an itch behind her left front leg before returning to her previous position. “Nope, I haven’t been in the pack long enough to receive a rank. I’d love to join you on your patrol. I’d definitely join the patrol team, if you think I would be a good fit.” The Finkie bounced about in excitement and impatience. “Let’s go!” Not that she knew where they were going but her eagerness was admirable.

He watched Mercedes as she began hunting and successfully catching a rabbit. "Well done, Though I must admit I didnt doubt ya" He said impressed by her skills in hunting. "At least now its a bigger catch and a bit more filling. Wouldn't you agree?" He said with a smirk. He looked over to her and started eating up his catch. "Your quick on your paws" He said finishing up and sitting down his tail swaying side to side gently.

After a good meal of a small animal, he began to go back. Till a scent hit his nose as he began Sniffing out the same exact scent, lifting his head up he followed the scent to what seemed a loner. Although she appeared to not be heading the way of the pack. There was always certain boundaries that couldn't be entered by loners. Nowadays its almost certain loners were kinda just.. Well in more jeopardy than those in a pack since they had no one watching their back, Which was dangerous now. He watched the female, where she was heading making sure it wasn't towards the pack.

Having not much to do and plus nothing was going on for today, she sat down still keeping her eyes out. Her tail remaining in movement. She never really liked having to stay still for a long or short periods of time. It bothered her. Softly the canine let put a sigh wondering what to do today.

"I think its a humans keychain, It jingles a lot see" She said playing with the keychain with one of her front paws. As it jingled about she was entertained. "And its pretty shiny" She added happily. As she thought suddenly if Kiki was up and if she would find this as amazing as the little pup found it and herself enjoying it.

June's gaze flicked between the loner greyhound and Chief as she waited for the dog to respond. Every now and then she'd glance back at Alexei and admire his handsome looks for a moment, then train her eyes back on the two dogs in front of her.

"Alright, then!" Heidi replied before focusing on sniffing for any prey. Her nose twitched with many different earthy scents in the air, along with the strong scent of rabbit. She glanced around, crouching in case her ivory fur gave away her location. "I'll be back, you can follow me if you wish." she whispered to Boo. With her small ears alert, she padded slowly through the undergrowth, following the vivid scent of the rabbit.
