Making tiny sculptures of food!

Maxie can't cook to save her life, despite the fact that she loves cooking and likes to watch people cook meals whenever she can. Something she can do however, is sculpt very small sculptures. Thankfully she's very patient and steady with her hands and while she can and does make other things, her favorite thing to make is miniature versions of food. She prides herself in making figurines that she can take close up pictures of and fool people into thinking it's actual food, that's when she tells herself she did an amazing job and when she gets really proud of herself.

Her favorite one she made was back on her best friends birthday. Another friend of theirs was cooking the cake since Maxie knew she'd probably burn it or something. Still she wanted to do something and ended up making a figurine based off the cake! Her friend loved it a lot and it was the first one she ever made. Her friends told her she had a talent and she should keep doing it, so she did. Her room is filled with display shelves that hold her creations and she keeps every single one of them, unless like the first one it was meant for someone.

She's been told many times that she should try opening some kind of online shop or something and sell them, but she won't. She believes that they're to special to put prices on and if she makes one for someone it'll be because it's a gift, not because she's getting money from it. Maxie stands by the idea that if she were to start selling them that she'd loose interest and it'd be more like she was forcing herself to make them rather than do it because she enjoys it.

The only food she hasn't tried making a mini replica of is a wedding cake. She wants the first one she makes to be a gift for one of her friends when they get married, so she's waiting in case one of them do. If not, that's fine, she'll probably wait until a family member does. Either way she'd love for it to be special.
