STABLES

The Stables are a place where different species introduced in Creature Caravan are put into classes and managed in groups by Stable Managers. This page is dedicated to the stables and species of Creature Caravan, and anyone is welcome to post / gather thoughts on this page if it relates to your respective Stable.

Current Species Classes
Species Classes are organizational groups for species present in CC. Starting out, there will only be a few, though it may expand as necessary. Species Classes may contain unlimited species of their class, as long as they 'fit' in the class.
Base Classes
Canine | Feline | Equine | Rodent | Aquatic

Any species may have varying tags, even tags that cover other species classes, but every species will have a dominant species class categorization.

Classes may be added in time. Watch out for new classes in the future, or feel free to suggest an additional class. Some are in the works, though!

Any Stable without a manager may have Species Managers within the stable. Please come to me with questions / advice as necessary in this case. Otherwise, your first go-to for solutions within your stable should be the manager linked below.

Stables - Jobs

Positions Overview:

The Stables are a place where different species introduced in Creature Caravan are put into classes and managed in groups by Stable Managers. Stable Managers basically manage the direction of the Stable they choose to run. There can be only one Stable Manager per Stable.

Species Managers focus directly on a single species's development and direction. Species of CC may only be managed if closed or semi-open, so CC only supports semi-open or closed species as of now (decided by individual Species Managers). Species Managers are to cooperate with their Stable Managers and fellow Stable members.

LoreMasters create lore and concepts to be released to the stables, perhaps to result in a new species being introduced. They are also there to help Species Managers manage the lore of their existing species if needed!

What are you looking to do?:

Stable Manager: "I want to be in a higher-tier management position, and help organize events and manage a number of other users elected as Species Managers within my Stable."

• Great! Just PM me with a form shown below, and the choice of which Stable you'd like to run! (Must be available)

Species Manager: "I want to directly be in charge of a species and its lore. I want to manage the species I choose and am able to cooperate well with other members of my stable and my respective Stable Manager.

• Understood! Please decide which Stable you'd like to be aligned with, and look for new species under that Stable!

LoreMaster: "I love writing and/or drawing. I want to contribute by helping members develop their species, and possibly create new concepts to be added to the group!"

• Lovely! I'd love to see what you can do! Please fill out the application shown below to get started!

General Artist: "I want to make adopts for one or any of the species shown here!"

• Your involvement in this way is up to the new owners of the species! So, feel free to contact a species owner or look for artist applications that they choose to set up!

Custom CC Bases

Customs are FREE when requested through CC.
Customs will ALWAYS be free in CC.

Why are Customs free to request?
CC is meant as a community-based multi-species project. Every participant is appreciated, whether when running a stable or species or partaking in a species as an adopter. Taking on running a species is a responsibility, and I consider every species to be a gift to the CS community. Also, this project is important to me, and the fact that you're requesting a species to be a part of it makes me happy. ^^

How can I request a Custom?
Follow these steps:
1. Acknowledge the rules that apply to CC. Note that separate rules apply to customs in regards to the rule segment 'base ownership', because these bases are being made with YOUR concept in mind. Either way: base rights will NEVER be revoked, you will be free to run a species as you'd like under CC (closed or semi-open), and the choices you make regarding lore, edits and setting up stuff are entirely yours. Pretty much, being under CC means that you: acknowledge your connection with CC and are responsive to stable managers in regards to event set-ups and such.
2. Decide on the specifics of your idea. After all, it's important that you'll connect with it once it's transferred onto a visual base.
3. Fully and properly fill out the available form.

[b]Username:[/b] (your CS username. You may share your DA username as well, only really necessary if you plan on running the species on DA (which is allowed, as long as you link back to CC))
[b]Species Class:[/b] (This is your Stable. Stables come with managers that you will be working with for class-based events and such, if you are interested in participating in stable events. If your species does not fit an available stable, either choose the closest one or list a new Stable (ex. Reptile, Avian stables are not listed currently. Feel free to choose either of these, or anything along the same lines - I'll correct / guide if necessary if I believe your idea could fit with a different stable.))

Why do you want to become a LoreMaster?: I love writing and drawing and creating lore. I am better at traditional drawing so I can message artists or post on this thread with any sketches. I can also pm any new species owners or artists about lore ideas that I have. I'd love to help wherever I can!
