Iceyeyes sat outside the warriors’ den, cleaning his pelt. Hearing paw steps, she turned towards the murder. “Hello there,” she murmured to her clan mate. “Why don’t we get a drink of water for the elders?” the murder asked, even though he knew his den-mates brought the elders water earlier. “Alright,” Iceyeyes replied, getting up and following the other cat. “Stay right here,” the murder meowed, their tail flicking. “I smell mouse and want to get it for the clan,” the cat meowed, crouching and heading into the bushes. The warrior scented the air, confused. “I don’t smell anyth…” she trailed off as she was tackled to the ground, so she growled startled, but it got cut off as the murder quickly put a paw to her neck and pressed down on it. “Good by Iceyeyes,” they murmured as the warrior stopped struggling under their paws.

Blastclaws

The tom woke up and stretched lazily knowing he was going to be sending patrols out soon. First I'll check on windsong he thought as he grabbed a minnow from the fresh kill pile. He trotted over to the nursery and smiled at the two queens. Good morning! he called to them

Breezefire woke up and stretched before she padded outside her den. "MorningBlastclaws." she sleepily greeted the warrior. Today could be much warmer but noooo. It had to be super cold... She thought, the cold air ruffling her fur. She grabbed a mouse and started to chew it. The sun is so bright but it is still quite cold. She frowned when she remembered that it was the end of leaf-fall. Why do I even bother to remember these things? She snapped at herself. She kept thoughtfully chewing her food, no longer thinking about leaf-fall.

[doggoesmeow]

Blizzardstar awoke in his den. Everything seemed to be in place there was nothing that was different. He let out a yawn before padding out of his den. Blizzardstar padded toward the fresh-kill pile and thought of Plumfang. She really hates being taken care of apprentices, but I would hate for her to have to walk all the way over to the pitiful prey-pile. He picked up the most plumpest piece of prey he could find and padded towards the Elder's den in shock he dropped the prey as he saw the body of Icyeyes. He let a wail as he saw the cat.

plumfang stirred slightly in her dreams; ever since moving to the elder's den, she had had trouble sleeping. to be completely honest, it was quite lonely sleeping alone; she was used to the snores of her denmates waking her up in the middle of the night, or someone stepping on her tail on their way out to the dirt path. she was startled awake by a wail coming from just outside. scrambling clumsily to her paws, plumfang exited the den as quickly as possible, only to be met by a horrific sight; the dead body of icyeyes. more shocked than anything, the elder looked up to meet blizzardstar's gaze, "What happened to her?" it was self-evident what happened, of course. there was blood everywhere; something must have attacked her.

Dewpaw felt sharp claws grip her pelt, grabbing for her throat.
She woke up suddenly, lunging for her attacker but found no one but herself and her denmates.
Dewpaw closed her eyes tightly. Every night violent nightmares struck. They seeped venomously into her mind, with badgers and snakes stealing away moments of peace she hopelessly longed for.

Dewpaw shrunk into her nest but knew she had to get up. She looked over to Ebonypaw, her adopted brother, a spotted cat with silvery eyes. He had always reminded her of a prowling leopard. She decided not to wake him, and hobbled out of the den alone. She heard a loud wail and skidded for the elder's den. "Blizzardstar?" She mewed, hopping towards him. "Is something-" She stopped abruptly. She saw blood and shrank back into the wall. She turned away from the body, shivering. She wanted to run out but felt as though reeds gripped her by the paws. She couldn't speak, and let out a soft whimper.
