Yes... not to mention my only response to an AJ-like site would be to quote a sky-high price because animation. is. hell. xD I still have fun on the site with my sister myself, but I don't interact with other players much so that might be why.

On a pet cap.. I think our options for reducing pet numbers would be:
-CS-style max amount of pets you can adopt per month, excluding events/store pets
-FR-style max amount of pets you can own at any one time, with options to expand this number and give away your pets
-simply giving pets a higher value, so it would just be flat-out difficult to get a lot of them really quickly (I like this one the best tbh).

E: Oh!! And for the element thing- FR's done the 12 elements with 1 hosting each month etc. thing already. It's a pretty key part of their site so I feel it would be a bit too parallel. Maybe we could do seasons, keep it to 4, and we'd be able to hold 1 event per season and/or release new pets without too much of a strain on the site (or the artists).

oo! I like the first the best, honestly, but yeah, we will need to reduce pet numbers so there aren't just a bunch of super-common pets around.

was a season based rotation of the pets, so some pets were available only during the season to which they relate.

Are you far into development? A lot goes into making sites like these and some people literally spend years on them. Do you have a team that knows a lot about programming and can put together the basics?

Barely started the planning stage from what I've seen. Good hobby programmer, a good artist and I've done concept art and work on similar projects at least. If you want to know more or suggest stuff ideas are always welcome!!
