Ulquiora's emerald eyes narrowed ever so slightly. He disliked Hisaraku more than almost any other Espada and he was well aware that he wouldn't be unhappy should they meet in battle someday. He turned without a word, and walked down the hallway, his Arrancar robes flowing behind him.
He paused as he reached a window and stared out into the vastness of Hueco Mundo, his harsh gaze traveling over the drawling sand dunes.
------
Akiko held Takishima tightly before letting out a breath of relief when Ulquiorra left. "Great, now we have another enemy." She sighed, brushing back a stray lock of obsidian hair from her child's milky white forehead. She lightly kissed his cheek and turned back to Hisaraku.
------
Sutetchi cocked her head to the side in curiosity for a moment, a little surprised that Tisagu had decided what he had. Her smile was eery as she spoke again. "Doku has a thing for breaking toys," She said, eyeing the limp Ayame. "Keep her close if you don't wish for her to suffer." She let out a soft chuckle, brushed back her pitch black hair with her small hand and jumped to the windowsill.
"We must move at a quick pace. No doubt you have mastered flashstepping. Follow me." With that, she shot forward, barely a blur across the sky.
------
Byakuya was returning from his place on the hill when he noticed Lieutenant Hinamori looking rather upset. His dark, unreadable gaze observed her for a moment, before he approached her.
"Has something happened?" He asked.
