personality; Sakura is an introverted artist. She spends her time in school doodling in the margins of her papers and drawing quietly in her sketchbook. During lunch, she usually sits with her two best friends, but sometimes she sits by the cherry blossom trees and continues to be lost in her world of art. Sakura ran through the woods, clenching her textbooks. She had slept in too late- and was off schedule. She hated to be off schedule. She had lived away from the cities her entire life, although she had been to Tokyo when she was just a kit. Now, she had to get to school before the bell rang. If she got there afterwards, her teacher would lock the door and refuse to let her in. As she ran, her hair jumped up and down with every step she took and the skirt of her school uniform waved like ribbons. She approached the school grounds and clenched her heavy textbooks tightly so she wouldn't drop them. Sakura rushed through the front doors and quickly found her classroom. Thankfully, it wasn't locked.
"You were almost late." The teacher said in a stern and serious voice.
"I wasn't late-" Sakura replied, out of breath.
"Don't talk back to me. Find your seat and sit down." The teacher interrupted. Annoyed by her teacher's attitude, Sakura quickly sat down and got her supplies out of her backpack. The bell rang, making an ear-piercing noise.
"Alright, everyone. We have a new student today so please welcome him. Hiroshi, please come up." The teacher motioned a boy to come to the front of the class. The kalon was about her age. He was light gray with darker gray on his back and ears. He had gray spots all over his body and beautiful cyan eyes.
He's cute... Sakura thought.
"You can sit down now, Hiroshi." The teacher said. Sakura looked over and saw that Hiroshi sat near her, just two desks to the left.
Maybe I'll sit next to him during lunch, Sakura thought. he probably won't have much of a reputation, since he's new here.
