2017 Halloween Event - Casual Chat V.1 [read first post]

My strategy right now is to stack up on tokens, then spend once I see pets that I really like.
Not much of a collector so completing this year's halloween pets won't bother me that much, plus with extra tokens I get to stack up on C$ and use it buy art or more expensive pets. x)

The last time we thought one of the Summer Event horses or Kelp pets would be rare, we were disappointed!
(so don't assume that they're rare, people!)

What's your opinion on people who don't bother trading in the tokens and just offer the freebies for the box pets?

Well, they can try.

But it's most likely not fair unless it`s like the one rarer Outcome from the batch mostly. Even then it's kinda borderline because those are usually only UC while the many Token Pets are Rare.

On the other hand those rarer Freebies can be harder to find than some Token Rares.

I don't think it's fair either. I mean, freebies are, well, free, but you have to do and pay something for box pets, and there are fewer people who have them.

im not for or against it. it's pretty hard to find someone willing to trade token pets for free pets, so if said people can find someone to do that trade with, then good for them i guess. i personally wouldn't, just because i feel like it would be extremely frustrating.
there's a very low chance any of the pets will end up being higher than a rare anyway, so it really wont matter that much when the event is over. if you can find someone who will trade you a token pet for two free pets, then i think thats a-okay.
fair in terms of demand is different from fair in terms of rarity. i guarantee that once the event is over and rarities come out, demand will plummet.
