How many do you have now?

Just the two. One male and one female. My female is overly clingy to my male, who likes being alone more often (he is heavily bonded to me and my boyfriend, as he was our first), so I was thinking another ferret would give him the space he wants, but the companionship she wants

I like to keep ferrets in odd numbers because of how closely they bond. When one of their cage-mates pass away, the survivors won't be alone with their grief. I actually just added a third to my business, and he's settled in perfectly! So I say if you can afford it, go for it!

bumping this because I want to hear about everyone's lovely ferrets... I want two of them one day, but right now I am sadly unable. ;v;

OOops.... well... my boyfriend did the oops.
Story goes... I went to I went to Petcco for a bag of food on Friday(Nov 24th) for the ferrets and I saw her all alone. No other ferrets she was soo sad.
But on the night of Nov 26th, my boyfriend left, and when he came home, he went into the ferret room (ferrets have their own room), and he called me in, and there she was. Early Christmas he says xD
She is a little over 2 months old, born September 24th 2017.

Her name is Daenerys! And now I have 5 ferrets LOL!

So I'm part of a Facebook ferret gifting group. It's like a monthly secret santa for ferrets, and I love it when I can afford to participate! This is Sega with some of the gifts we got last month.


I'm also super excited about the liners and bedding set I ordered! I'm getting floor liners, hammocks and sleep cubes in this pattern!

Absolutely love ferrets! I use to have one as a pet when I was younger for about 7 years, he was the best pet we had at the time and my family simply adored him. I would definitely get another in a heartbeat.

I'm getting my first ferret tomorrow! I have 6 fish tanks, but it's been a while since I've had a small furry animal, so I'm pretty excited. I'll be getting him from a family who is moving and can no longer keep him Sad for them, but he'll be going to a good home.
