Established on the fault line between two converging plates, MountainClan territory has its fair share of quakes, resulting in giant mountain ranges a couple of hundred miles inland. But their beliefs and traditions have kept them tied to the same spot for generations, and despite the frequent dangers, they thrive here. Their camp, located on a plateau at the base of a great mountain which shields them from the unforgiving weather, provides a safe place to raise the clan's youngest. The tricky topography, although difficult to adapt to, is considered an advantage when hunting and fighting to those who know it well enough. Not much life manages here long-term, but there is enough prey to keep the clan satisfied, and freshwater rivers carry important nutrients like fish and yabbies. Lakes are waiting deathtraps during leaf-bare and mudslides and avalanches have been known to wipe out entire patrols of cats, but not until recently, small tremors and shakes have been known to cause their fair share of trouble. It is clear that something is brewing in the darkest depths of the earth, an unruly time-bomb of havoc and ultimate destruction.

feral-blood or half-blood
used to describe a rouge, or any cat who shares blood of an outsider and it is very offensive.

sharp-tooth summit
located in the east, it is the place where apprentices go to speak with starclan before they become warriors. it is a sacred location and so each visit much be short-lived and respectful, as rumour has it the very first leader of mountainclan died trying to climb it.
