Pigeoncloud blushed. "N-No! Well... I don't think so." He looked down at his paws. "They won't be visiting." He said truthfully. He covered his cheeks with his tail. "What about you? I mean, I know you're not supposed to, but there's nothing wrong with liking a cat a lot." He mumbled.

Hollyheart frowned. "Right. Well, surely a good warrior would go on a special mission for me?" She asked, looking away. "You should go and find a bees nest. We need lots of honey." She said. "If you find a really good one, you can have some of it. But, when you do find one, go back to camp and get some warriors." She said. She sat there for a moment, wondering what to do. "Well, see you later." She said, trying to hide any disappointment from her voice. She slowly stood up and started towards camp. She felt sad, but she couldn't do anything. Robinpaw would never think of liking a medicine cat. Hollyheart stopped and took a turn, not wanting to face the rest of the clan. She secretly willed Robinpaw to follow her, but why would he?

"Honestly you should take an hour or even a day off to relax and you know, do things you like. He meowed to her with a small smile. Though he quickly went back to a relaxed expression when she meowed again. "I don't know. We'll find out. But yeah, there hasn't been one lately when you think about it."

He laughed before racing off after the she cat. She was quite fast for a she cat with oddly bent paws. Viperpaw was impressed. Though he could run a lot faster than her, he didn't want her to feel bad so he kept himself at a decent pace beside her. "I'm going to beat you Manglepaw!" he purred out.

The tom leaped to the side before pouncing on the she cat right when she landed now allowing her to regain balance. He had to move quick to fool this cat. Max striked her shoulder before leaping off and skidded to a halt.

The tom nearly smashed a berry in surprise, not expecting that. "Oh....well........sure. I have feelings for a certain cat but I can't let myself act on them. The Clan needs me after all. I have to make sure my supplies are well stocked and all wounds and illnesses are taken care of."

Pigeoncloud blinked. "Well, if you did like that cat, and they liked you back... Well, no-one would know." He said, kneading a ball of moss between his paws. He was extremely interested in finding out who this cat was, but he doubted Pinetail would ever tell him.

Hollyheart jumped. "Okay!" She said, trying to hide the excitement from her voice. "Well then, where is it?" She asked, licking her chest fur in embarrassment. She knew this was serious and actually important, but she was more interested in spending time with Robinpaw.

Aridstar sighed, "I hope the next one is a relaxed one instead of one that will do more harm than g-" She stopped when she noticed Pinetail and Pigeoncloud come into camp and go straight for the medicine cats den. She could see Pigeoncloud couldn't walk on one leg and she had a gut feeling that everything didn't go smoothly. This doesn't look so good. She turned her head back to Bluegaze, "Sorry, I need to check up on everyone. You can come if you'd like, perhaps in case help is needed at all?" Aridstar headed for the medicine cat den, only poking her head in the rock cave at first before going in completely. The first thing she saw was Pigeoncloud. Now she could clearly see a splint on his leg. "Pigeoncloud? How did you get hurt? I didn't even send you out in the patrol! Or, was this not related to the hawk?" she remained calm but concerned for the older cat.

Jaggedbreeze was about to start walking but then she remembered, The hawk! We can't just leave a perfectly good piece of prey behind to become crow-food. It might be too heavy for Thorntail himself though. Jaggedbreeze looked at Thorntail and pointed her tail directly at the hawk, wondering what they should do with it.

Flame heaved himself off the rock after a long period of time. He yawned, opening his jaws as wide as he could. Flame looked around he marsh to make sure the coast was clear. He bounded for the forest, hoping a clan cat wouldn't spot him. Flame had reached the forest but trekked onward. He kept going until he reached a den than dipped a bit into the ground and had ivy camouflaging the entrance. Flame slid into it and his paws landed on cool stone. The bottom of the den was stone and the back wall was covered in stacked stones. There was obviously something behind them but it was not a one-cat job to be able to destroy the wall, so he payed no attention to it. Flame sat down and began licking his ruffled pelt.

Hazestrike dragged her outside the den and away from it a bit before letting go of her scruff. "Thats not what I meant mouse-brain! You just have to change your current way of life to something more joyful and adventure-filled" he meowed, "You know what, I am going to ask Bluegaze to put you on patrols a lot more often. Then you can't laze around your den!" He was clearly fed up with her "giving up."

Pigeoncloud freaked out when Aridstar walked in. His fur fluffed up and he stared at her, not recognizing her for a moment or two. Once he did, he forced his fur flat and looked down at his leg. "Greetings Aridstar. Yes, It was indeed the hawk. I was hunting for prey and I wasn't thinking straight, I just scented a bird. I jumped on it and it threw me off, I think I landed on my leg wrong." He said, hoping the leader had not heard any of his conversation with Pinetail. He knew he would be punished greatly for loving the tom and mildly suggesting he break the medicine cat code. In fact, he couldn't really love any cats. Most of them had arranged mates and he might end up with one himself. Then again, he doubted Aridstar actually would give him a mate. The leader before her hadn't and there weren't really any she-cats fit for being with him. But, of course, not having a mate was no excuse for wanting - and trying - to be with a medicine cat.

"I'll come. I too need to see what happened with the hawk." Bluegaze meowed before following the leader. The deputy entered the den before his eyes widened seeing the damage and how many cats were there. Clearly something bad happened. Maybe that hawk was more stronger than they thought?
