lacke- I can see Pebble noticing the grief that Koi goes through after the death of almost all his family. Pebble's brother, WhisperStep, [the former medcat before EgretCall?] also died to the sickness and Pebble lives out his sadness for his loss vicariously through koi. Pebble will often seek the leader out on the aniversery of their deaths, or in moments when memories reawaken to comfort the leader, speaking proverbs to help them both heal. One of the down sides to being overwhelmingly positive is that the tom doesn't know how to process grief and just buries it. I think that Koi is one of the few, if only, people that he has cried around.
