Well, Fireheart never cared about the kittypet jibes he got and enjoyed being a warrior, knowing he was meant to be one. Plus, I rarely see PMVs/AMVs centered around him, so it'd be cool to see another.

anyway, i'm making a little warriors fanfiction and i'd like some opinions on it!

I'd like to inform you all that I'm back on track with my Warriors fanseries, The Lake Tahoe Clans. My friend and I finally figured out a timeline for the LTCs and Moonclan, which eventually meet up during generation 9, which took almost half and hour. It was a bit...crazy. Mostly from my end, because I cover more generations while her stories primarily deal with generations 2 and 3. Anyways, would anyone like a link to the stories on Fanfiction.net as I upload them? Also, feel free to ask me questions about the universe. I won't bite. c:

@simonpet - yes, i am a traditional namer! some of the prefixes are slightly untraditional, but they aren't too bad ;w; thank you, i'm glad you like the names! also, i'd love to see the stories ;o; maybe a lil inspiration for me haha!

then again, it seems i like making all the names and descriptions more than writing :")

descriptions/histories more than the actual writing part most of the time.

Just as a general question, how strict are you guys with traditional naming?
Like does everyone only use the 'Ailuronymy' lists? Or are there other
prefixes/suffixes you use ontop of those? I mostly just use common
sense to what terminology clan cats can know and don't use banned
prefix/suffixes. (ex. I have characters named like Flintback & Mistleberry,
neither of those prefixes or suffixes are in the "official" lists everyone uses,
but I personally still think both of those name are acceptable.)

@The Moon Gazer: It varies, depending on my universe! For example, for Forestclan (CS Create-A-Clan) [removed], I only use Ailuronomy's list of prefixes and suffixes. For Cherryclan, Frostclan, and Mistclan of Lake Tahoe, I use a set of prefixes I personally researched and use most of Ailuronomy's suffixes with a few new ones thrown into the mix such as -throat, used for storytellers. Then, I helped my friend come up with a bird-themed suffix system for her clan that used -wing, -beak, -talon, etc. In terms of how I use prefixes/suffixes, I use words that the cats should come across in daily life, which means plants, animals, colors, patterns, some times of day, and a few miscellaneous prefixes. Anything human-related, "impossible" (coat color wise) or too vague is crossed out automatically. I don't do lyrical naming anymore because honestly, it's more trouble than it's worth to come up with a "unique" name. I prefer practical. c: And so far, I have several clans with very practical but identifying names that also sound cool, like Falconflower, Pikepelt, and Crowcloud.
