And YAY!! I finally reached my goal of 500 with this hoard:

All of my staff dog hoards! Ever since I joined in 2011, I've hoarded at least 1 staff pet from each year. Sometimes it's my favourite dog from that year, and sometimes it's just one (or two) that speak to me the most!

Anyone else do this? I would have hoarded dogs from 2010 and 2009, but I don't have the fodder for that ahaha

1.) What do you hoard?
Dragons, any kind, my group is Dragons[HOARD]
2.) Why do you hoard them?
I love dragons in general, all dragons, any dragons
3.) How large is your hoard?
Large as it can be
4.) What is your goal for the hoard?
Well, to get all the dragons(that is a goal right?)
5.) Do you overpay for hoard pets/items?
My Dragon Hoard is Not For Trade, but if they were, yes, I would overpay.
6.) What was the first pet/item in your hoard?
My first dragon was this little guy from my friend UnevenIsland:

I called them 'smol wings' because of the 'wings' on their back (honestly I
don't know if that's what they really are or not) But! They where the first
pets I decided to hoard, so I'm happy to have completed it!

As for a new hoard...
In all honestly, I really want to hoard all the guys from this day
But I think I'm going to start small and only focus on collecting 20 or only
one or two of them. So to start...

Looks like it's a good month for me in the trading department! I rarely get the motivation to send out lots of trades any more, but I've felt motivated this past week and made some nice progress.
(At this point, an extra thanks to Celozon, who's been an incredible help. Especially with those 3rd Gen PPSes, haha.)

I'm particularly proud that with the generous help of SabrinaB, I've finally finished my Sushi PPS cat hoard. Gonna be strange to no longer see them on my wishlist, but this hoard means so much to me after having collected them for 7 years, and I'm happy to see it completed.


And after quite the long time, there's a new addition to my vixen hoard as well!
Alnilam is #101, and I'm a whole bunch of FR gems poorer now :'D

Gosh, these are so pretty all together!
I heavily debated hoarding this litter myself, but ultimately settled for just adding the liquid outcome to my theme hoard.
They look really great in big numbers, especially when you load them all on one page :D

Can hardly blame ya, though. Bernouli's and Jayfrost's outcomes had me heavily tempted, too. I think Bern's outcome this year is easily one of my all-time favourite staff dogs.
But oh man, I can only imagine what a pain it's gonna be for you to complete those all, should you decide to hoard them. If I've ever learned anything from looking through your hoards, it's that your goals are usually in the hundreds.
I'm not even sure how you have the stamina to keep collecting them all; I die a little inside every time I start another 100+ hoard :')

Those butterfly wolves look absolutely gorgeous together, oh wow!
Honestly, they look like they were meant to be hoarded, I never even considered how pretty they would look in a group, but they really do.
That's a lovely hoard, great job on getting so many of them!

I'll admit my stamina does get depleted after a while. I haven't actively hunted for my hoardies since I joined FR actually. I'm enjoying the little break, as it really does get tiring after a while, especially when I toss in like 5 new hoards a month! It's a never-ending cycle. Also, I love when events like LOLO roll around because then my hoardies come to me ;^3 In all honesty though, if I'm getting frustrated hunting for one pet I just stop and look for another, more recent outcome to try and make myself feel accomplished. It keeps me sane.

Overall I guess just the feeling of accomplishment I get whenever I close one of my monstrous hoards is reason enough to keep doing them. I feel ridiculously happy and proud each time I put that little check mark next to a hoard's name <3

I've also been known to cut down my goals from higher numbers to just 150 if I've either a) Decided the original goal is impossible to reach without divine intervention OR b) I've fallen out of love with the pet(s) I've been hoarding for that goal but not enough to disband it altogether.
