Pigeoncloud rolled onto his side. His leg was paining him, but he didn't really care. He covered his eyes and lay still. He didn't understand how calm Jaggedbreeze was. If it happened to him he... He might not be alive. Am I too soft? He asked himself. He sighed quietly and wondered what would happen next. Well, the medicine cat would come... Obviously... And he'd go back to camp. He guessed he would have to wait for that.

Hollyheart smiled. She jumped as a cat yelled out behind her. It was Robinpaw. She spun around. "Robinpaw, what happened?" She asked. It had to be something to do with the hawk. Had a cat died? Were they all dead? Had the hawk taken them away? She was so focused on what had happened she didn't even realize who she was talking to. Robinpaw. The adorable little furball she had never really dared to talk to that much. She shook her head, bringing herself back to reality. She looked at Bluegaze. "You should go. You are the deputy."

Going over to Jaggedbreeze, he carefully began to examine her jaw as he could tell it was the worse injury. "Pigeoncloud I don't want you moving until I get a chance to look at your leg," he said, not taking his eyes off the she-cat as he sniffed her over. It was best to have both cats stay here until he was able to decide if it was okay for them to move. Sometimes movement caused more damage or agitated the wound. His paws began to carefully move over Jaggedbreezes side as he felt for any other injuries that might not be visible.

Spinning around, he looked at the warrior. "Th-The hawk is dead but Pigeoncloud and Jaggedbreeze got hurt. I think Pigeoncloud might have broke his leg and Jaggedbreeze's jaw looks all messed up! She fell out of a tree!" He said, green eyes wide as he kneaded the ground slightly. "I came back to inform Pinetail so he could go and look at them."

Pigeoncloud yawned. He felt exhausted. He mumbled a yes then closed his eyes. He wondered how Pinetail would fix his leg. He knew his leg had to be kept still, but how would he do that? Pigeoncloud opened his eyes and looked over at the medicine cat. "How do you fix a broken leg?" He asked. He saw how concentrated the tom was, so he didn't really expect a reply, but the question was worth asking. Would Pigeoncloud just have to lie down completely still for a moon? But maybe not a just a moon. How long would his leg be broken?

Hollyheart looked back at Robinpaw. "Oh starclan. Did she fall on her face? Her neck might be broken!" She yelped. She stepped toward him. Her fur was raised, terrified. She had begged and pleaded to go on that patrol. It could have been me... She thought. Or Robinpaw! She realized. She rushed forward, sniffing him for blood and glancing at his pelt. "Are you okay? Did the hawk get you?" She asked, her eyes wide. She couldn't see any injuries, but if he had fallen off of something or hit a tree he could have broken something or be badly bruised.

"I will have to make a brace for your leg," he responded. He felt no injuries and knew her jaw might be permanently messed up but he would try his hardest to fix it to the best of his abilities. He would have to clean off the blood first so he could see how bad the injury was. "After that, you'll be confined to a nest in my den to let your leg heal. Once it's healed enough, we will work on exercising it to help your muscles recover." He swiftly responded. Grabbing some moss, he bounded over to a puddle and dipped it in. Going back over to the she-cat, he used it to try and wash some blood off.

"I'm fine." He said as she began to sniff him over. "No hawk would dare try to attack me! Anyway, I wasn't allowed to join the fight." He said as he gave himself a shake. "I didn't even get a scratch on me. I was only allowed to be a messenger if anything happened. Jaggebreeze fell out of the tree and hit her jaw. It looks rather crooked and she had a lot of blood from a scratch on her cheek as well. It was pretty bad."

Pigeoncloud nodded. He wanted to say more, but he was worried distracting Pinetail could harm Jaggedbreeze. He remembered being the medicine cat den before. It was quiet in there. It smelled lovely, normally of catmint and berries. There were two nests, sometimes three, all of them lined with moss and feathers. The medicine cats got the best nests in the clan, apart from the ones in the nursery. Pigeoncloud had last been in the medicine cat den because he got a scratch while helping the newest apprentices training. He wasn't angry at them, as he had done that himself to his mentor when he first learnt to fight. Pigeoncloud wondered where Robinpaw was, but he supposed it didn't matter if Pinetail was here.

Hollyheart chuckled at Robinpaw's comment on the hawk. She flicked her ear, then nodded. "Well, I'm glad you're okay." She said shyly, avoiding looking at Robinpaw's eyes. She wasn't sure he knew her feelings, but she felt her cheeks getting hot. She knew she was being a bit rude to Bluegaze, but she was sure he wouldn't mind. After all, there was nothing wrong with socializing with the apprentices. She looked down at her paws, kneading the dirt with her claws. She hoped she hadn't made Robinpaw feel awkward.

Aridstar sat down after hearing the screeches from the hawk in the distance die. I assume that means they were successful? She didn't see a hawk fly from the trees so she raised her head in pride. They should be coming back soon. I better stay alert. Aridstar began licking down her pelt, trying to have it less messy.

Jaggedbreeze let Pinetail do his thing. She put her tail by his face to show him the part of her tail that got caught in the strong beak of the hawk. It was near the tip that it was broken. It could be easily fixed and was only broken in one spot rather than the bone breaking in more than one spot. (Mobile)

Owleyes sat across from her "I'm here to listen if you want to get anything out of your system." He paused for a few moments and added on to make her feel less pressured, "If you would prefer not to, I can leave." He gave a slight smile and awaited her response. I-It's possible its about my relationship with Littlesprout... They never seem to get along.
As soon as Littlesprout and I rubbed pelts, Shadewing suddenly seemed to lose energy and be like this.

Flame ran through the marsh, right on the tail of his prey, a marsh rabbit. He stepped in a hole and tumbled over. He winced and slowly stood up. The rabbit was long gone and he clenched his teeth in frustration. "How hard is it to catch a piece of prey out in this dumb marsh" he yelled, pacing back and forth. He had probably scared away all he prey just then. Flame began walking over to the large river and looked in it. Fish, frogs, turtles, and shrimp could be caught here. He stared in the water and as soon as he saw a fish swim by, he slammed his paw into the water and hooked his claws around the fish. He pulled it out of the river and set it on the ground next to him. Flame bit its spine and it cracked, and the fish fell limp right after. Flame began tearing apart the fish and eating it where he sat.

Hazestrike sat up and looked around him, seeing if any cats would be willing to keep him company. As usual, all cats were occupied. He sighed and padded to the warriors den to take a short rest. Upon arriving, he saw Paleface laying in her nest. Hazestrike padded closer to her, "Now why are you laying in the den all day? You should be outside and enjoying the weather before leaf-bare." He chuckled and hoped his intimidating looks don't scare her away. I wonder how she makes it through leaf-bare with having no fur? It would seem rude to ask, but its very intriguing. (will reply later. Mobile is too hard)

"You have a pretty nasty cut." Pinetail said as he gathered some cobwebs and carefully pressed them onto the wound to try and slow the bleeding. Her jaw didn't look good and he was afraid of touching it and causing more damage. "I will need to make a brace for your tail as well and it should be good as new." He knew he would need to take her back to camp to have her jaw treated. "Lets me set Pigeonclouds leg and then we can head back to camp. Both of you will be confined to my den until I say you are able to leave." Moving to Pigeoncloud, he looked around before spotting some twigs. Finding the two that were the straightest, he went back to the tom and set them by his leg. He nudged a stick towards the others mouth. "You can bite on this. It's going to hurt with me moving it and getting it set." He was going to need someone to help get the tom back to camp. There was no way he would be able to walk like this. Gathering some ivy tendrils, he knew he would need quite a bit to use for Pigeonclouds leg and Jaggedbreeze's tail. Having gathered a good amount, he sat next to him and began to set about getting his leg in position. His tail lightly rested on the others side, hoping to offer some form of comfort.

"We should go back!" He said as he was ready to dart out of camp. "They might need us! We should go and make sure everything is okay! They might need help getting back!" He knew Thorntail was there but he was still worried. Tail flicking, he ran towards the camp entrance. "I am going! You can come along if you want!"

Pigeoncloud nodded and clamped his jaw around the stick. Pain shot through his leg and he bit down hard, his body tense. When the pain had left he let the stick fall out of his mouth and breathed in and out, his eyes wide. He stared at Pinetail, shocked. "Is it over yet?" He asked. He didn't want to do that again. He looked up as a Robinpaw skidded into the clearing. Pigeoncloud mewed a greeting to the tom, before Hollyheart burst through the bushes behind the apprentice.

Hollyheart frowned but quickly changed her expression. "Sorry Bluegaze, I have to go." She said. She went to the medicine cat den and looked around for herbs. She paused for a moment, then grabbed some thyme, cobwebs and poppyseeds before rushing out. Robinpaw was gone but she needed him to show her the way, so she ran through the entrance and into the forest, then began following his scent trail. She supposed she shouldn't have expected Robinpaw to talk to her. Of course he was worried, a giant hawk just injured three warriors. She should have gone as soon as Pinetail did. Hollyheart burst through some bushes, her eyes flicking to Jaggedbreeze's face. "Uh... I'm sorry I wasn't here earlier, Pinetail." She said. She glanced at Robinpaw. "I thought I should get some supplies and I couldn't find the poppyseeds because I had dust in my eye..." She said quickly. She shook her head. "What should I do?" She asked.

"Don't worry. I am done." He said as he had managed to tie the ivy tendrils around his leg, the sticks holding it firmly in place. Sitting, his tail lightly ran over Pigeonclouds flank to try and help keep him relaxed as he looked over at Hollyheart. "You'll want to make a splint for her tail and check the wound on her face. We will have to discuss her jaw back at camp." He said, staying back as he knew Hollyheart could do this. She had earned her medicine cat name and was rather skilled in healing. "Thorntail I need you to help me get Pigeoncloud back to camp." Seeing the gray tom give a nod, he hoped they would be able to get both cats back to camp with no problems.

He was glad to see Pigeoncloud and Jaggedbreeze were okay and being tended to. Watching Hollyheart, he noticed Pinetail's tail stroking Pigeonclouds flank but figured it was some sort of calming thing that medicine cats did. Looking over at Jaggedbreeze, he wondered if her jaw was fixable. It looked painful and he wondered if her speech was going to be affected by it at all.

She whispered to herself, recalling how ridiculous she had acted around Robinpaw. She picked up three sturdy-ish sticks and padded back to Jaggedbreeze. "This might hurt a bit, but I can't give you a stick like Pigeoncloud got. Would you like a poppyseed to help with the pain?" She asked. She also wanted to give Jaggedbreeze thyme for shock and put cobwebs on her wounds, but the tail was her priority. "Robinpaw, could you fetch some moss soaked in water?" She asked, her gaze fixed on Jaggedbreeze's tail.
