Zaylee was on a walk. She was feeling rather lonely, and was hoping to find some company. The sun was just rising in the distance, and she watched the sky light up with pink and gold streaks.

Merla was perched on a tree, her head tucked under her wing as she slept. After she had been out all night,
doing business here and there Merla was very tuckered out when she made it to her favorite tree. Not even caring about the fact the sun was rising, she was blissfully unaware of her surroundings.

Hearing the voice of some animal on the ground trying to talk to her, she lifted up her head that was nestled in her warm wing, and opened up one eye with a small yawn looking down at the black lab.

"Oh, hello. I'm trying to get a bit of sleep after running around all night, before other animals wake up and the place becomes noisy." She spread out her wings and jumped off, gliding slowly to the ground landing in front of her and she looked up. "What are you up to, as well?"

Misty collected poppyseed herbs in the sunny meadows and used the power of her horn to carry them into a basket. She sighed. It was a hot day to be collected herbs, but she knew back at the medic area they needed it, so she continued.
