altines (called tines for short) are a species of furry, omnivorous mammal native to colder climates. they range in size from dog-sized to tiger-sized and are very social creatures. there are three classes of altines based on size and hormonal levels: domestic, stock, and feral. domestic are the smallest and most submissive class and will never have manes; stock are the standard class and will occasionally have manes; feral are the most dominant and aggressive class and will always have manes. all altines have a mask-pattern on their face; there has never been and will never be an altine without a mask. the most interesting thing about altines are their tails. each altine's tail is in fact a individual, sentient galaxy! the tails can be good, neutral, or evil in alignment and influence the altine in actions and beliefs. are you willing to take one home?

wooo halloween bab ! this kiddo is glow-in-the-dark, and the first rare altine out there ! i love this one a lot and hopefully y'all do as well :> below is a skeleton form, but you're free to pretty it up or add extras ! end date is undecided

story/art: Dipper's eyes narrowed slightly as he stepped forward his galaxy like pelt ruffled slightly by the gentle wind, a faint glow in the distance caught his wandering gaze. He hesitantly continued walking his tiny webbed paws making soft 'pft' like sounds as they slightly sunk into the soggy swamp like mud. His rounded ears began to swivel back, pinned to his head as he realized whatever was emitting the glow was much larger than him. The young otter paused for a moment before he began walking closer to the glowing 'thing' his aqua eyes quickly locking on the creature in the distance. He froze in fear when he noticed it was some type of canine like creature, but instead of a tail it had some sort of smoke like 'blob'.

Dipper hesitantly continued walking until he was a few feet away from the canine like creature, he quickly cleared his throat and rose so that he was sitting on his hind paws to make himself look a bit bigger compared to the monstrous canine in front of him "Uhh.. Hello? Please don't hurt me, I take gross. Like rotten fish" he squeaked when the canine spun around to face him it's emerald eyes glowing like the markings along it's back and sides "Oh hello there, I didn't hear you coming. Why would I hurt you?". Dipper shook his head and hesitantly looked up unsure of what to do or say "Well I just thought you looked pretty scary. I mean a glowing hellhound ten times the size of a common river otter is pretty terrifying, at least to me." the glowing canine quietly laughed and sat down flicking the smokey tail over his massive paws "I guess I can see why you were scared then. My name is Casper by the way, what's yours?" Dipper smiled slightly before he raised his paw to wave at the oversized canine "Nice to meet you Casper, my name is Dipper"
