Okay, It's not a bad book honestly, but the relationship is really hated on and problematic. I'm reading the first few chapters, and Dovewing is being a big JERK. Seriously I'm starting to hate her. And it's been confirmed that either Twigpaw or Violetpaw has gone to skyclan. {It mentions in the book that twigpaw is now an apprentice of skyclan, although in the alliances it says that twigpaw is in thunderclan and Violetpaw is in skyclan. One or the other is a misprint, although I'm pretty sure twigpaw will stay in thunderclan I also hope so because I hardcore Ship Twigpaw and Alderbae like it's nobody's business

Honestly, I think I'm the only one who feels that the series should have ended at The Last Hope. The books now are getting... strange, proven by the events in Tigerheart's Shadow. ...Why is there another Tigerstar now?! I think that it would have been a good, accepted ending at The Last Hope, knowing that tigerstar is gone and the clans are back at peace. I'm probably alone in this though.

I fail to see why having two Tigerstars is such a problem. A leader's name must end with star and Tigerheart didn't pick his name, so it shouldn't be an issue. There are multiple cats that have the same prefix, so this could easily happen again in the future, with a leader name being used twice. And I agree, DovexTiger is just so hated. I honestly think its not a bad ship, but thats my opinion. The name of a leader shouldn't matter so much, I mean, there were cats with names that made no sense and nobody seems to mind that.

Heya everyone, nice to meet you!! I've been reading warriors for 7? Years now, and I'm still really into them. Actually getting these in the post today finally pushed me to join :'D
also some transparent bits re: the above conversation

I don't necessarily think the series should have ended at The Last Hope (though thematically that would have made a lot of sense) - AVOS has introduced some new concepts that still are appealing to read about, the dichotomy of Darktail's cult was really interesting for example, but I agree that I didn't like Tigerheart's Shadow at all. Bit of a narrative mess. All that being said I'm really unsure as to how much I'm gonna enjoy AVOS4, 5 and 6 because the story seems to be going in a really odd direction? But I'll still buy em and wait and see what I think.
I'm still miffed the next super edition is gonna be on crowfeather, and that he got to be deputy lol.

I actually enjoyed the new books tbh. Darktail and his group were a rather interesting twist and these books have overall given off a different vibe to be. Everything seems much darker and strange, but I feel like its good to take a new direction with things. As for Crowfeather, I think he could make a good leader. If he learns to stop being grumpy and arrogant, he has a lot to offer.If you think about it, he is one of the most experienced cats in the clan and has learned his place. So if this super edition goes well,
Crowfeather can redeem himself and maybe even prove to be a great leader.

I don't like the way the series is going; one of the reasons I no longer read 'em, although I do like the culture and idea behind them! I simply dislike the characters, the bland forbidden romances and how it's kind of become very messily put together. Spottedlelaf's heart and Tigerheart's shadow were both horrible in my opinion! I preferred the first book; Into the wild.
