I tempted to start a hoard that contains pets from the year I've joined which is 2012 and give myself a challenge of collecting 2012 pets for that hoard. good idea or bad? any name suggestions for that hoard if i do it?

Great Idea, but I don't think you should do it, it might be a little bit harder for you depending on how much you have from that year, but if you like challenges then do it dude!

I've loved this outcome of the
recent staff litter so I've deci-

On a semi-related topic, I might
start hoarding butterfly wolves as
I adore the line-art, but alas I am
a clean-freak, so the hoard would
probably end up being huge
because I'd like one page for
each butterfly wolf on the site.

I haven't yet made any hoards but I'd like to get started, does anyone have some advice? c:

choose a pet(s) that speak to you, that you really, really like. Decide if you want to have a small or large collection, a short term or long term project, and what difficulty to trade for said pet(s) will be.

A recent omgs/very/common? barring a few (ex: that dang staff pup), they'll be easy to trade for, and a small group will be fairly easy to complete. It's a good introduction to getting into hoarding. And then after if you make it to your goal and decide to get more? good for you, go do it! an endless collection? cool! want to try a small collection of an older or uncommon pet? might be a tad more difficult but pretty doable. a large rare collection? ambitious! good long term goal! list pet? even with a ton of trade fodder you'll be in it for the long haul, but I wish you luck!

There's as many ways to hoard as there are people that do, experiment and explore to find what's best for you (or hey, do a few types together at the same time even!). this should be fun. stressful at times, but fun! and if you decide later you don't really want to hoard a pet, or no longer feel attached to a finished one? there's nothing stopping you from throwing them back into the trades!

I was thinking of hoarding those as well!
I think a cute hoard name for these would be You Have A Friend In Me, just because of that little cute hamster on its back ^^

Watching the chickens from this month, so cute. Considering hording those but I want to see what they'll look like :o

The second monkey outcome is the perfect color, also watching it.

Then the first 2nd gen that grew (primarily orange paint looking one, I love it but I don't know about the anklet markings the litter has. Cause I'm weird. I don't know. xD lots of cute babies this month
