Silverkit yawned, blinking awake. Getting to her paws, she trotted out of the nursery, ears pricked as she saw Potoopaw. "Hi!" the kit exclaimed. "Could we play?" she asked the apprentice.

Breezefire woke up and felt the sun warming her fur. "Sweetleaf! Doesn't the sunrise look amazing?" she asked, realizing her mentor wasn't awake yet. She padded outside and saw Silverkit and Potoopaw. "Hi guys! What're you playing?" she asked them.

Potoopaw jumped briefly, turning around and seeing Silverkit. His eyes lit up as she mentioned playing - he'd not gotten much time due to his training, and if Cherryfang wasn't here to say no, then... Surely she'd be fine with it. 'Sure, why not? What do you wanna play?' He heard Breezefire, and smiled at her. 'Not sure yet! I'm going to let Silverkit decide.'

"What did you play as a kit?" Silverkit asked. "I don't play much due to no other kits in the nursery," she reminded the apprentice. "Hi Breezefire!" she meowed, her eyes shining at the medicine cat apprentice.

Lightningtail felt refreshed after a good night's sleep, leisurely stretching out her limbs and letting out a yawn before padding outside the warriors' den where she instantly took notice of Potoopaw speaking with Silverkit and Breezefire. While it was nice to see them all together, she was a little puzzled as to why her mother's apprentice was still in camp when they would usually be out training by now. Cherryclaw mentioned nothing of going on the dawn patrol either last night, which made Lightningtail even more confused. And now that she thought about it, she couldn't see neither her nor Bonefur in their nests as she exited the den, maybe the two decided to spend the morning by themselves? They were rather close after all.

'I woke up and she wasn't here, but I'm sure she's just doing some important warrior stuff or something.' his voice was chipper, and he tilted his head. 'I can go down the river and look for her?'
